A man ran through the hallway while breathing heavily at the sight of the exit. A young girl and a woman followed behind him while wearing a devilish grins on their face. The younger one couldn't stop herself from giggling aloud.
The man shouted. Displeased by the outcome of his land. A rush of panic ran through his skin as he pushed the door to reveal a crystallized city.
The girl took a few steps to the outside ground and smiled. The woman standing beside her spectated her work in awe.
It left the old man speechless as he turned to look at the two females.
"You- What is this madness?!" He exclaimed as he pointed to his failed creation.
"We merely have done as you instructed. While you were preoccupied with leisurely activities, my Mother attended to business."
The man cackled at the girl's high-spoked words despite her young age. It left him stunned but yet didn't hold back from arguing.
"Business? This is an uprising!"
The old geezer turned to look behind him as he felt footsteps getting closer to him. Two soldiers showed up. One older and the other younger. If he were able to guess, probably around 12 or 14. As for the girl, most likely 9 or 10.
"You two, seize those two traitors, now!"
The two guards stood there silently as his command failed to do them so. A stream of silence went through the area as the destruction was complete on this side of the land. However, the lady wanted to continue her conquering, though this old geezer is wasting and annoying her time.
The little girl smiled at the old man as he nervously looked at both his sides.
"You'll find your chief of war and personal guard take their directive to my mother now."
The man gritted his teeth as he angrily looked at the young female.
"You. . .you've been planning this from the beginning haven't you?! To work your way to the top to overthrow me!"
He turned around to the two guards with the same irritating frown he sent the little girl.
"And you two. . .you helped them?! Traitors! Deceivers!"
The little girl's mother turned to look at the old man as she kept a hint of a smirk marked on her face. Of course, not only was it filled with satisfaction but also irritation.
"I did not deceive you." She started as she held the little girl's head.
"When I came to your service, my intent was to aid in perfecting this world but you and your advisors have shown me how little you care for the interests of mortals."
This left the old man stunned as he heard a word he didn't expect to hear.
Mortals
"M-Mortals?"
He stuttered.
The lady let herself float to top the old geezer. Her smirk turned into a dark frown as she kept her glare on the old man. The little girl behind her smiled deviously as she switched gazes to the young boy that was supposed to be his 'personal guard'. He too didn't really care what would happen to the old man. He just thought of it as a daily routine. As for the girl, she was something you could call 'Satan's Daughter'. Her mind is filled with bloodlust and murder. If she was allowed to, she could destroy the entire world by herself. However, even though her mother has already planned to do so, she was forbidden to conquer it alone.
"I've seen countless times before your meeker existence. I've witnessed cities rise and fall. I've seen the world suffer, famine, disease, war, and endless turmoil. An eternity of needless pain."
Another old man that was summoned before him disappeared into thin air. An old woman who shouldn't be anymore older than the last one appeared behind him.
"I thought if I helped someone with real power, guided you to be better, I could make a true difference in the world."
As the old woman finished her words, a young girl showed up in front of him. Her devious smile looks alike just like the lady's daughter.
"But now we see the only true way to create the perfect world. . ."
"Is to start with the clean slate."
The girl vanishes as two unfamiliar figures appeared in front of him.
Both of them had clean white hair and white pale skin just like a snake. One had red glimmering eyes and the other blue.
No person can look this unrealistic. Unless it was something called an 'Immortal being'.
The old man stumbled back in fear as his assumption was correct. Both of them truly were immortal beings. Not good ones at that.
There was no chance for him to run away. The exit was covered by the two guards that could slice his throat at any time.
All he could do for the time being was beg for mercy and offer them a good trade.
"No no no! Please! I beg of you. . .uh. . .I'll make you my chief advisor! Richest beyond your wildest dreams! All you could ever desire if you want for nothing!"
He exclaimed as tears started forming in his eyes.
The smoke covered the girl's face and then again revealed the little girl he knew.
The girl held her forehead and rolled her eyes in irritation.
"Ugh, my words are lost on you. So disappointing."
She said as she turned to hide away her disapproving look from him.
The lady shoved her daughter to hide her small figure. She formally had her hands on her back as she continue to speak.
"Your usefulness has reached its end."
She looked up at the two guards as she kept a genuine smile.
"You know what to do."
The chief held his sword as he looked to the ground. Thinking if he's doing the right thing.
He took a small glance at the lady he's been serving for this mission. He caught a small glance at the girl. she smiled and giggled as she knew what would happen next.
Words echoed inside his mind. A permanent memory he wanted to keep forever.
If he was honest, he loved the little girl from the bottom of his heart. It didn't matter to him if the age gap between them was huge. Something about the little girl was charming but he himself didn't know the reason behind it.
"Of course, my Lady."
