YOOOOO Adding the insane Mayor to the simp group.

"I failed."

I whispered as I wobbled to the ground. I held onto Macaque's sleeves tightly as my terrified glance grew.

And soon, the two boys Monkey King had beaten, fled to a different place to search for help.

"Macaque. . ."

"Don't be upset, Lotus. Come on, let's follow them."

I nodded slightly and kept my head on the low. I embraced him tightly as we disappeared into our shadows. We re-appeared at a crystalized place. However, besides that, there was a figure inside one of the crystal spikes. I couldn't recognize his face but I can tell that he fought against Lady Bone Demon.

"Is he. . .?"

Macaque turned in my direction. He frowned upon the familiar figure who was frozen and stared at me in pure terror of the person standing before him. His red eyes locked into mine at recognition.

However, I was only confused as to why he looked at me that way. I tilted my head and placed a hand on the crystal.

Why did I feel so close to him? He's a stranger to me. Yet, I felt like I knew him from a rather long time ago.

Edea, where you also close to this person?

How many more am I going to meet?

"His name is Nezha. The Third Lotus Prince."

"The Third Lotus Prince you say. . ."

I muttered as the exact name rang inside my head. Another unknown voice came into play as Edea started to giggle in the background. It also felt familiar but no one came to mind. His voice was energetic yet the feeling of betrayal in his voice was bearable.

"Nezha. . ."

Macaque called out your name from the distance. My hand let go of the crystalized immortal. He muffled something while being inside of it. His eyes grew teary as I wandered towards the Monkey.

His happy mumbling inside the crystal made me feel reassured. As if I were able to understand him through it.

"I'm happy as long as you are happy, stupid girl. . ."

If I were to be understanding him enough, I would've thanked him for it.

But. . .

"Y/n, what are you doing?"

"Freeing him!"

Macaque held my hand from continuing any further with the spell I had about to cast. He knew what I was capable of if I used my power against him and he also knew that I would never turn against him.

So holding me back from doing something risky and time-wasting, was a big allowance for him. He can call himself lucky that he loved someone dangerous as me who wouldn't hurt him in the slightest bit.

He knew me and I knew him. He let go of my hand as I dropped the other one.

"We don't have much time to waste, Y/n. The kid's friends are already discussing a plan. You need to be in that."

I glanced to the side and looked down.

"What about you?"

"Huh. . .?"

"What about you? Don't you want to help Mk and his friends?"

Macaque scoffed and looked at the crystalized Nezha in front of him. He frowned a little before pulling a certain man along with him.

"I'm only bringing them someone who might help. I won't go any further than that."

"Not even for me?"

Macaque stopped his track as he looked back slightly pained from what happened in the past. He knew which position he would be standing if he played along with their plan He stayed quiet until I finally gave a sigh and held onto his wrist.

Well, if I won't make him change his mind, then maybe Mk could.

I embraced his arm once again as we disappeared into our shadow once again. This time, we followed behind Red's shadow.

Our shadow grew behind his figure with a huge grin pressed on our faces. Macaque pulled out one of Lady Bone Demon's minions and dropped him in front of them.

"I hope we're not interrupting."

Macaque spoke as he made Red step back in shock. I was visibly smiling the way he was but I kept my mouth shut.

"But if you're making a plan to defeat The Lady Bone Demon, I know a guy who might be able to help."

I held out an insane Mayor that belonged to one of Lady Bone Demon's minions and plopped him down to the floor. He glared up at the people in front of him and giggled like an insane being.

This man that I had just placed down, looked somewhat familiar to me. At least I recognized the same eyes that were insanely staring at them.

I stepped out of the shadow and so did Macaque. I was greeted with glares and whispers and a disapproving frown.

"Wow, what a welcome."

I spoke as I stepped in front of the insane madman.

He grinned at me as he recognized my aura and face. I could've sworn I'd seen that same grin before. Just when and where?

I swore to god this is one of Edea's memory that I have yet to know. Just how many are you going to make me recognize faces, Edea?

That Nezha guy and now this old man? Damn.

I kneed down to the Mayor and tilted my head in wonder.

"I could've sworn we knew us."

He smiled devilishly at me before he began.

"Ah, Princess Bone Demon, I am truly honored that you remembered me as your guard."

"I never said I remembered  you as my guard, dumpass."

The Mayor laughed it off and ignored my insult. Instead, he bowed to my legs and greeted me once again. I stared down in disgust as the others did the same.

"Princess, Let me remind you that I am your one and only protector."

"Are you S-kidding me? Do I look like a woman that needs protection from danger? Well, let me tell you something, sir. I am the danger."

I stood back up to see the Mayor in a completely shocking state. I bet Edea was easy on him.

"My. . .princess. . ."

Red stood in front of me as he annoyingly stomped to the cracked floor in front of the old man.

"I'm telling you this once, old man. She may be a princess in my family but I won't let you call her the princess of that Lady Bone Demon's child. My sister doesn't belong to her any longer, you freak."

I smiled at Red for his rough way of protecting me. So did Macaque.
