Macaque was still sounding asleep in my arms. I started to wake him up by caressing his hair backwards. He exhaled at the softness he felt on his head and clenched harder onto my shirt.

He still had those tear marks on his cheeks which made him cute in some way. I embraced him tightly. Making sure that he'll never disappear on me again.

Just out of nowhere, there was a loud crashing sound nearby which startled both me and the black monkey. Macaque sat up and extended his ears. Summoning two more pairs on each side.

'The Six Eared Macaque. . .If I look back to the past where that old man almost captured me in that lantern. . .he said something about a Warrior. However, the kid before him. . .said he was their legendary hero. That kid must've meant -The Legendary Warrior- Not -Hero-.'

Macaque turned to look at me with his purple glowing eyes. He went closer to my face a glarred deeply into mine.

"That's right. I am the warrior they spoke about. They always have mistaken me with Sun Wukong's title since we look alike."

My eyes widened as he suddenly was able to reply besides my words being only in my mind.

Was he able to read minds with those six ears?

Oh no. . .now I'm worried.

Macaque sat crossed legged next to me and closed his glowy eyes.

"That girl. . .is still alive?" He commented as he found the source of the noise.

"And is that. . .Red Son?"

"RED?" I exclaimed.

And who does me mean by 'That girl"?

That's not important. Red is here. My brother is here. I need to see him.

I stood up and ran up to the exit. I was held up by a hand holding onto mine. Squeezing it so tightly that I wasn't able to move at all.

Macaque's eyes returned to their original color but his ears still remaining on the same amount. His eyebrows furrowed. Not wanting to let me go and see them.

"Let's go meet them, Macaque." I said with a smile slowly replacing my questioning frown.

The monkey wasn't sure if he should come along. After all, the girl he just saw in his 'hearing vision' seems to be more depressed than the last time he saw her.

"I. . .I can't. Go without me. I'll stay here and wait for you to return. I don't think I'm in any position to even speak to her. After what I've done. . ."

The cave was filled with silence. The flame of the Phoenix filling the room with it's sound and light.

"What did you do?"

Macaque flinched and kneeled down infront of me. He clasped his hands together and begged me for forgiveness.

"Please, Lotus! I didn't mean to injure her in anyway! I was forced-"
