845 Freya is born in Kattegat
859 She is 15 and the story begins
860 Ragnar returns, she is about to turn 16 – both Bjorn and Hvitserk and Ragnar and Ivar
leave
861 Lagertha becomes Queen of Kattegat and before the end of the year Ivar returns and later
Bjorn and Hvitserk as well
862 Between the end of the previous year and the beginning of this one the Great Army sails for
England – she and Hvitserk get married and before summer ends Bjorn and Halfdan leave.
863 Freya, Ubbe, Hvitserk and Ivar are in York together till the middle of the year and then Ubbe
and Freya leave together for Kattegat.
864 Between the middle of the former year and all towards the end of that one, Freya is in
Kattegat and they are about to fight with King Harald and Ivar – Bjorn returns before the
fight.
865 Over the end of 864 to the middle of the year they fight against Ivar and King Harald, she
marries Halfdan and they fight against them again and they spend three weeks hidden
before sailing for England.
866 They stay in England under King Alfred's protection and towards the end of the year she
goes with Bjorn to York again to King Harald.
867 Towards February they sail to Norway, they retrieve Kattegat and Bjorn becomes King.
868 Bjorn and Freya go help King Harald and are trapped by Olaf's men for the majority of the
yearbefore calling for elections of a King of all Norway – the elections take place and Bjorn
and Freya flee.
869 Preparations for the first Rus attack and battle in the spring – second Rus attack soon after,
Bjorn dies – mid autumn King Harald takes the crown of Kattegat.
870 Beginning of the year Ivar and Hvitserk are back to Kattegat – preparations to return to
England – sailing mid-summer for England where Ivar and King Harald die – Freya returns
to Kattegat with Hvitserk and becomes Queen.
890 Torvi dies
910 Hvitserk and Ubbe die
920 Freya leaves Kattegat to explore northern Europe and lives in various Viking courts for a
while.
