Unexpected Reunion

Forever and Always!

       Katie came by the next day, and we got to work on planning my wedding!  Since Linda and Tyler were on vacation for the rest of the week it was just us for now. I couldn't believe it, in 2 short weeks, I would officially be Damon's wife! Sharon also ended up stopping by to help because she was so talented, we knew she could pull together an amazing wedding on such short notice.

Sharon showed me some ideas about what to do with the space we were using. We were doing this in the backyard since it was plenty big enough.  She showed me a beautiful archway and I knew that it was the one I wanted to use. This wedding would not be big or fancy but still beautiful. Big and fancy is just not something I ever wanted. 

Damon said he was fine with whatever I wanted as long as it meant him becoming my husband. 

Out of nowhere, Sharon wrapped me up in a hug. "Oh Saint, I am so happy! I've been rooting for you and Damon since the day I met you! I've always wanted a daughter and now I get the best one ever!" 

I hugged her back and thanked her.  She may not be replacing my mom, but it will be nice to have someone to talk to about motherly things. I loved Sharon and it was going to be great to have her as a mother.

Katie showed me some flower arrangements. There were some in every color. We eventually chose a pretty off-white kind that would go with anything.   All of them had a single blue rose in the center.

Katie started checking off things as we went along. "Alright, so we got the venue, table, tablecloths, flowers, music, and food. Now we just need dresses, and we should be all set! We won't need to send out invitations because everyone we know is so close, we can just call them and hope they are available."

Katie then looked up and smiled. "Now on to my favorite part. We get to go dress shopping. Sharon, you have to come with us too."

Sharon nodded her head. "I can't wait to see Saint in a beautiful dress!"

I rubbed my belly. "But can I find a decent-looking dress while being this huge?"

Sharon came up and rubbed my belly with me. She looked up at me. "Of course, you can sweetie. You are gorgeous and we will find you the perfect dress!"

Sharon wasn't kidding. Going through maternity dresses wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I mean there were some nice things. After a couple of hours, I finally found the perfect one!

It was simple but beautiful and the baby bump just made it all the more perfect! Then it was Katie's turn, she knew my favorite color and there was a dress that made both of us happy!
