2 Years Later

"Mama!" Parker ran up to me and I wrapped him in my arms. I noticed that Paisley, Katie and Josh's younger daughter, was bothering him. I swear these two kids were adorable.

Damon walked up holding our daughter Julie in his arms. "Is he ok?"

I nodded my head against the top of Parker's head. "Yes, I just think Paisley has a baby crush on our Parker and he doesn't like it."

Damon laughed. "Well, that's my boy, such a ladies' man!"

I shook my head at him. "Of course, that is what you would say." Linda and Tyler were on yet another vacation so they couldn't be here today.

She was going all over the world as she wanted. I was happy for her I really was. I loved my life here with my family. I couldn't picture life without them even if that meant going all over the world.

I heard the gate open, and my siblings all ran in with Troy and Katrina following behind.

Parker pushed off of me and went right up to Troy and asked him to pick him up. Troy was an excellent grandpa and Parker loved him and Katrina. Sadie ran up and grabbed Carly's hand, then they ran off to go play. They became instant best friends pretty much overnight, it was adorable.

Josh came up to Damon and me and clapped Damon on the back.

"Hey man, you need help with the grill, maybe feeding these kids will calm them all down!"

Damon nodded his head and handed me Julie and then kissed my head. He whispered against my forehead.

"I love you Saint." I looked up at him and told him I loved him too. I watched as Damon and Josh went to go get the grill started. I stood up and Sharon was right there.

"Oh please, let me hold my pretty little granddaughter!" I handed Julie to her and walked over to Troy. Parker finally got down from Troy's arms and went with his uncles. I swear it was love at first sight for those kids. Parker loved his uncles and aunts and they loved him right back. When I met them, it was like we knew each other our whole lives. I loved them so much.

I wrapped my arms around Troy. "Hey dad, thanks for coming."

He hugged me back. "Wouldn't miss any opportunity to spend time with my daughter and grandbabies."

He looked over my head. "I think I'm going to help those boys with the grill before they burn all of our food." He started walking over to them and then they all started getting the burgers and dogs and steaks on the grill.

I walked up to Katrina and hugged her. "Hey K, it's good to see you." I loved her like a mother and she knew that. I just couldn't get around to calling her mom, it just felt wrong somehow. My mom would be the only one I ever called mom. But Katrina and I had an amazing relationship and I loved her like crazy.

"Saint, it's great to see you! I'm so glad we moved down here so we could see you all the time. I know that kids love getting to see you and the babies."

I turned and watched the kids playing. "I love them. I'm also glad that I get to see them all the time. It's great watching them grow up."

Katrina turned towards me. "So Saint, any plans for any more babies?"

I laughed. "Nope, I mean I know Damon wouldn't mind, but I'm done. I have my little boy and my little girl. I want to spend my time giving them equal time and then when they are grown, Damon and I get to have all the time in the world to travel or just be wrapped up in each other."

Katrina shook her head, and I could tell she understood what I was saying. "Right, that makes sense."

Damon walked up to me and wrapped me in his arms. I reached up and held his arms around my neck and I sighed.

He put his chin on my shoulder. "What's wrong love?"

I shook my head. "Nothing is wrong I am just so happy. This is the best life I could ever have, and I owe it all to you." I turned towards him and kissed him. These past two years with Damon could not have been better.

I mean don't get me wrong we do fight but the make-up sex almost makes the fights worth it. I still work at the hospital, and I've done pretty well there. Damon may be out of the dangerous part of his job, but he still owns all the clubs and manages them, so he keeps busy. Never a dull moment with us.

We have our two amazing babies. Katie and I are secretly hoping that Parker and Paisley become a couple when they are older. I guess time will tell. One more thing that made me love Damon even more if that were possible, was that he paid for Shane's dad's operation.

The day Damon told me he wanted to do that I swear we made love for hours. I couldn't believe that he would do that for Shane. Shane didn't want to accept the money but his now wife Blaire talked him into it, saying it was for his parents, not himself.

I went down there with Shane to tell his family. I could tell that they weren't really happy with me, but they were still nice. When we told them the news, the excitement on their faces made me so happy.

The day that Shane sent me a video of his dad walking at his wedding I was so happy for him. Shane's family deserved that. I also heard that Shane and his wife Blaire had a daughter and that he was finally happy. I'm glad that everything worked out for him.

Damon walked up to me and handed me a plate piled high with food. "Damon, I can't possibly eat all this!" He kissed my head and pointed at Parker who was coming over to me. Then Damon grabbed a handful of food.

"You know you two could have just got your own plates! But no, you always use mine! You and your son are animals!"

Parker growled at me, and it made Damon and I laugh. "I rest my case!"

After everyone ate, we played some games and just had a fun-filled day.

Finally, it was nighttime, and the kids were super excited to see fireworks. I got Julie all tucked into her crib and grabbed the baby monitor. We all gathered around waiting for the fireworks about to start. The kids all climbed onto a blanket on the ground and the adults all stood behind them.

I wrapped my arms around Damon's middle while he rested his arm around my neck. Then the fireworks started.

 Then the fireworks started

I looked around at all my friends and family. The smiles on their faces and the laughs I heard were amazing. After everything I have gone through, I think I deserved to be this happy. And when I looked over at the porch light, I saw it flickering and I knew that my mother felt the same way.
