(A/N: I don't own the Percy Jackson or the Heroes of Olympus Series. We all know this. But, hey, I have to give credit to the ever-amazing Rick Riordan.
Before I begin I just have to say something. Thanks so much for all of the views and the votes!!! You guys have no idea how happy this makes me. Now that I think about it, I think I only started about two months ago, not expecting this much popularity in a little bit of time. So, to those of you who have been reading ever since Part 1, I thank you. And to those who have just started to read this series, thanks for reading anyway. Every view, vote, and comment means a lot to me! Now, enough dawdling! Time for yet another story on Percabeth!!!)
I know how much Luke's dagger meant to Annabeth...and, now that she doesn't have it, after losing it in Tartarus, she doesn't have a weapon that she loves. So, in being the good boyfriend I am, I decide to do something about it.
I walk over to the Hephaestus Cabin and I knock on the door. One of Leo's siblings answers the door.
"H-hey," she says, "can I help you?"
"Yeah, I was wondering if Leo was here. I need to talk to him." I reply.
"He's here alright; do you want me to get him?"
"Can you? That would be great!"
Leo's half-sister disappears into the bunker and moments later, she emerges with Leo. Leo beams when he sees Percy.
"Percy, my man, what's up?" Leo asks with his trademark grin.
"Nothing much." I say. We high-five in greeting. Leo's half-sister goes back down into the bunker. When she leaves, I turn to Leo.
"Leo," I say in a low whisper, "I need a favor."
Leo's grin falters. "What kind of favor?"
"It's nothing bad, it's just-" I sigh, running a hand through my jet black hair. "I need you to make a dagger for Annabeth."
"A dagger? Like her old one?" Leo asks.
"Yes! Exactly like that one! Except I need you to engrave something on it for me."
"Sure, anything for the guy who's saved my life multiple times!"
I look around to see if Annabeth is around and motions for Leo to lean in. I cup my hands around my mouth and I whisper to Leo, telling him what to engrave. When I pull away, I ask, "Can you do that?"
"'Can I do that?' Of course, I can! For a moment there I thought you were going to ask me to trap a demon in the dagger."
I laugh, "No, I wouldn't do that!" We exchange goodbyes and before Percy leaves, he says, "Oh, tell Calypso I said hi!"
"I won't. Just don't go trying to hit on my girl." Leo says with a grin. Calypso and I made amends a while ago and now they're really good friends.
"Wouldn't dream of it! I have my own girl to hit on." Leo laughs and so does he and Percy walks away from Cabin Nine. But, before he can, the Hephaestus boy calls out, "Oh, and Percy?"
"Yeah?" I turn around.
"The dagger will be ready in two days."
"Okay! Thanks, bro!"
"No problem-o!" Leo closes the door and I walk back to my cabin with a content smile on my face.
Annabeth is going to love this surprise!
~~~~~~~
Two days later, just as the Leo said, Annabeth's new dagger is ready. Leo and I are in Cabin Nine and Leo hands me the Celestial Bronze dagger, wrapped in a clean gray cloth. I take a peek at the new dagger. It looks exactly the same as Annabeth's old dagger, and it has the engraving I wanted on it as well.
