Ch3. Emotions

"You really tired Connie out" Y/n said with a laugh.

"It's adorable"

"What?" Steven questioned.

Y/n signaled that Connie was laying on HIS lap.

Steven immediately blushed and covered his face.

"Shut up!"

"Shhh!" Y/n shushed him.

"Don't wanna wake up your girlfriend!" Y/n said.

Steven huffed.

It got silent for a while. Spinel seemed zoned out as she pulled her legs close to her chest.

Steven and Y/n shared glances.

"You alright spinel?" Steven asked.

It seemed to knock spinel out of thought.

"What? Oh. Yes! Of course I am" spinel said smile unfolding her self.

"You seem..tired"

"Tired? Steven. Gems don't—"

"You know what I mean." Steven added looking firmly at spinel.

"Steven I'm fine. You don't need to worry-"

"You sure you're fine?" Y/n asked looking at spinel.

"I'm alright! Geez!" Spinel said crossing her arms.

"Well you don't seem like it..are you even happy here with the diamonds?" Steven asked serious.

"I.." spinel paused.

Spinel got up.

"Of course I am." She said.

"Maybe if it would be better you be in earth.."

Spinel flinched.

"Earth!? You want me to go to earth!? Did ya hit ya head!? Don't ya remember what I did!? I'm better here on home-world!" Spinel shouted gripping Steven's shirt.

"But you aren't! You don't even look happy here!" Steven said.

Connie began to move.

"Guys! Keep your voices down!" Y/n said trying to separate them.

"Stop trying solve every problem you think exist! It's starting to get annoying!" Spinel said shouting sand gripping more Steven's shirt.

"Guys..?"

All of us turned to see Connie getting up.

"What's with the shouting? What happened?" Connie sat up.

"I- Um-"

"It was just part of a game we were playing. Don't worry. How about we head home okay?" Y/n said helping Connie up.

Connie yawned "oh okay..I think it's pretty late already.." Connie said holding my hand.
