// Dedication to everyone that gave me support in anything. Thank you!!!
Riley
Packing and heading out of the country was a lot easier with the help of a very capable maid, an enthusiastic girl- Vivian, and her very caring fiancé.
A week to move to London, everything was done within a fixed time frame.
Marcus had to break it to the hospital that he had to resign due to his father's business. From limited information that Marcus was willing to tell me, all I know is the manager was pissed, his colleagues were very positive and gave send a bunch of flowers, and the hospital was busy finding another talented life saver.
The front door of our house was filled with bouquets of flowers that was sent by our friends and colleagues here in New York. I'm here still thinking what I should do with them.
God knows, I don't do the whole gardening thing. The magnitude of my horrible gardening skills and lack of interest in gardening always results in flowers wilting, and green grass turning brown.
Maybe that's why my mom never let me water the front yard.
Vivian and Ryan decided to stay in our house until we left. The packing was much easier with them here.
"Why do you get everything amazing Riley. I mean look at you, your moving to London, living in a mansion, and you have the world's most gorgeous husband. Like how am I suppose to beat that?" She envied.
I smiled at her. What can I say, I'm just one really lucky girl.
"Okay, so where do you want these boxes to go to?" She asked.
"Just leave that there. Someone is going to pick them up soon." I replied.
We didn't really need to move much things, the furniture get to stay, and pretty much everything else too. Just some clothing and essentials is getting shipped to London.
Knowing Melanie, London should be ready for us to move in. She probably even hired a team of contractors, redecorators just to make everything perfect for us.
"Princess, the jet will be here to pick us up soon. We're leaving in 10." Marcus took the keys, heading for the font door.
I looked at Ryan and Vivian, "well, your more than invited to visit me in London."
They smiled.
"We definitely will. Just call us when things has settled over there." Vivian gave me up big hug before I officially left.
I was going to miss our penthouse in New York, the people I met here, and the memories I made, but life was a never ending journey. A journey yet to be conquered.
Goodbye New York, hello London.
A limousine came to pick us up, and we had to sit through a 30min journey to get to the airport.
A jet was already waiting for us when we got there.
Some huge bodyguards came to escort us to the plane. The whole thing made me felt like royalty. When we made our walk to the jet, reporters and paparazzis came swarming in like we were the next big headline.
We didn't reply or respond to any of their questions.
When we safely got into the jet, another guy sat in front of us to give us a long lecture. Why doesn't that surprise me.
"You'll remain silent towards and questions that's being give. Do not entertain any reporters or paparazzis..."
This whole thing was being blown up to unnecessary proportions.
When the guy in a black suit left, I was more than confused.
"What's happening? And please use really small words." I asked Marcus.
"We are the next heir to my father's corporation. The media was dying for this moment ever since I was born. But I never quite fulfilled their headline dreams since I went to med school." He replied.
"Okay so...? No big deal. I don't see the big deal." I was being very sincere.
"Okay maybe I'm not blunt enough. This is a big deal, and you'll find out once we get to UK." He sounded out each syllabus slowly.
"I'm not an idiot." I crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"I know." He planted a kiss on my head, "now sleep. You need to be at your best when we get there." He ordered.
I nodded. I took a some pillows and a blanket from the flight attendant and floated into dreamland.
