Sorry, but this chapter hasn't been edited... Bare with me guys:)
Riley
I sat at the driver seat, quiet, eating the tub of newly bought ice cream. I placed my vision outside of the window, the moving scenery quickening.
"Your awfully quiet." Marcus took a quick glance at me.
"I feel like I'm being kidnapped." I muttered while swirling the plastic spoon in my mouth.
Instantly, he raised an eyebrow at me, grinning slightly. "Good you should."
I rolled my eyes at him, closing the tub of ice cream. I scrolled through my phone, killing time. Hoping this agonizing torture of not telling me where he's bringing me will end.
After a good 15 min drive, the car finally went to a stop.
We got out of the car and he clasped my hand. We were in front of yet another high rise building.
We stepped into a empty grand room that only had a few receptionist by the counter. The floor was pearl white marble, the chandeliers were twinkling across the room.
He held my hand tight and brought me into a lift. He pressed 10th floor.
When the lift doors closed, he turned to me in surprise. There was a smirk written on his face. I tried my best to not be lost in his blue eyes, but somehow that just ain't working for me.
"You know how some people were just meant to be in a glimpse of an eye. And how some people didn't even take a glimpse of an eye to know you. This is like that." He held my hand up to his lips and lightly kissed it.
As the lift was approaching the 10th floor, loud music echoed from the outside. And when the doors open, a surprise bigger than what I expected waited for me.
"Vi, your here. God I missed you." I ran across the hallway and into the nightclub. Virtually flying into her arms.
"I thought you needed a surprise." She smiled and hugged me back. Once teenage girls, always teenage girls.
"How on earth did you plan all this." I turned my head back facing Marcus. "You had something to do with this didn't you." Happiness rose through my voice, this surprise was beyond unexpected.
"It was simple actually, all I did was plan everything in a day, and called that hunk over there, and... Ta-da!" I tilted my head backwards laughing, I took a quick glance at Marcus and mouthed the words thank you.
I took a step back to straighten out my clothes. Noticing I wasn't dressed night pub ready. Oh well... The fashion police wins this round.
"Hey babe, where have you been." A muscular, wide shoulders guy came over wrapping Vi around her waist. He had jet black hair, and a row of sparkling teeth, he wore a black jacket and a plain white-t inside.
He swooped down and kissed Vi on the cheek, burying his face in her neck.
Vi embarrassedly pushed him away, "guys, this is my fiancé, Ryan. He met my father before me, but the rest is pretty much history."
Marcus reached out his hand to shake Ryan's.
"Wait, I know you. You're that guy... I've seen you in the newspaper before. Marcus Anderson." He gripped Marcus's hand, shaking it. "Pleasure to meet you in the flesh mate." He subsequently added.
After having the introductions done, it was time to party.
"Would you like something to drink?" Marcus offered.
"A bottle of red wine please. I thought you said you'd never allow me to touch alcohol again." I arched an eyebrow at him. Grinning and teasing him at the same time.
"Yeah, but just tonight." He disappeared into the crowd.
Blaring music, drunk people and alcohol, this was going to be a night to remember.
Marcus
Me going to the bar felt like walking through Times Square during New Year's Eve. Constantly sandwiched by people from the left and right. The last time I felt like this was probably during high school at the gym locker.
"A bottle of red wine. Two iced glasses." I finally made my way through and ordered the drink.
As I was waiting for the bottle of wine to be served, my phone rang.
Crap, it was my father.
"Marcus here." I picked up the call without hesitance.
"Where are you. Are you in the pub? Go home as soon as possible." He ordered through the phone. He probably heard the banging loud music through the phone.
"What happened? What's wrong?" We didn't seem to answer each other's questions. Just a question following another.
"There will be a confidential letter reaching your penthouse now. Read it. Call me once you do. I expect to receive a call within 12hrs." After that he hung the phone.
I starred at my phone, trying to gather what he said and what he needed.
"Your bottle of wine dude... Wait woooooow, your Marcus Anderson..."
"Keep the change." I shoved a hundred dollar bill in his arm before leaving. Not really in the mood for entertaining people.
I squeezed through the crowd holding the bottle and cups in my hands. People constantly bumped into me. Very bluntly, I didn't appreciate the body contact with complete strangers.
My eyes searched through the room for Riley. She wasn't where I last left her, or asked her to stay put. She needs to work on her listening-to-orders skills. I placed the bottle of wine on a tall, circle glass table.
Where could she have went to now... She never ceases to worry and impress me.
"Woohooooooo" suddenly I heard Riley's voice coming from the left side of the party.
What the heck. She was surrounded by drunk people, and playing with drunk people. She held a red plastic cup, and downed another cup of alcohol.
I shoved myself through the crowd. How could one person get into so much trouble within 15minutes.
"Riley, we're leaving." I held her by the hand and pulled her away.
"But I juz earned twenty bucksssssss."
"No I really do not want to hear it." I slipped my arms under her and carried her out.
As I approached the exit, I saw Vivian and her boyfriend dirty dancing.
I put Riley down and ran my fingers through my hair. God knows those two is already drunk.
Okay that's it. I'm gonna take them all home... Now.
I literally pushed them out of the club, and summoned the valet to get my car.
I bundled them all into my car, and drove them back to my place.
I would consider myself a patient guy. Cause within the time of 30min to drive home, they were having puke fest in my expensive leather seated luxury convertible.
Three drunk people, one me.
Why do I have a feeling that this isn't gonna turn out well.
