Everything was like a dream, but everything moved too fast that a wedding was planned in a weeks time.

I was standing in the hall of The Foundry in Long Island City, Queens. The old building was designed with old exposed brick contrast with modern steel railings, the whole thing felt like a unique ambiance.

With at least 200 or more people in front of me. I walked down the isle in my wedding gown that cost a fortune. Marcus's side of the family paid for everything, venue, my wedding dress, the cake, everything.

This wedding happened without Marcus's approval. It was when Marcus 's parents heard that I was his fiancée, they planned the whole thing from scratch. They planned it with my parents, but my side of the family mostly just smiled and nodded.

Marcus and I didn't even have a chance to go for a honeymoon or anything. When Marcus's parents drop the bomb and said that this Sunday was our wedding. We were all in vital shock. Apparently they did it in such a hurry because they had to fly to China due to business for the next whole month. Hence, the wedding being done like a hurricane.

I walked down a isle with my dad by my side. Everyone that was invited by Marcus's side of the family was either royalty or rich man and women. When you take a glance at the assembly you could see an obvious difference. The left side filled with tuxedos and ball gowns, the right side filled with shirts and skirts.

"Speak now or forever hold your peace..." The priest in front was already half through the ceremony.

Marcus was wearing a tuxedo that fitted him perfectly, his hair gelded to the side. As dashing and handsome as he was, he didn't look quite pleased because of this rushed marriage. His eyes fixed on the priest and listening to every word.

Damn, did I love the man standing right next to me. He was my one and only. His eyes blue as the horizon and a body that was shaped and toned perfectly from every muscle, every side. I loved him so much that getting married fast might be a plus side for me. Preventing him from changing his mind. But yes, I'll love him till the day I die.

"Wilt thee have this Woman to be thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt the love her, comfort her, honour, and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all other, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?" The priest looked at Marcus.

And for a reason I held my breath. These were the words that I wanted and waited for him to say since the day I met him.

"I do." Marcus then gazed at me with smile.

His smile made my world melt. His touch felt like an electric shock. His everything, was something I was ready to commit to.

"Wilt the have this man to be thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt the obey him, and serve him, love, honour, and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all other, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live? "

I met Marcus's eyes. "I do." I smiled from ear to ear.

The rest of the ceremony, I was basically spacing out.

"You may kiss the bride." Those were the only words I heard the priest say.

Marcus deep blue eyes met mine. My heart pounding like a race horse. He came near and wrapped my waist. I stepped nearer and held on to his neck, tilting upwards to accept the kiss that sealed the deal.

His kissed melted my world like butter. He claimed my lips, as our lips interlock, my body was no longer mine, as I pushed back to return the kiss.
