Chapter Twenty One

*Ivy's POV*

We had been running for another two and a half hours when I get rammed into which sent Jason to go flying off me. Sprinkles was quick on her feet and caught him before he flew into a tree.

I turned around and growled loudly at the rouge. I mindlinked sprinkles saying 'protect him! Ill handle the rouges!'

'But I can help...' I growled louder this time when five more came out of the bushes. I went into a protective stance in front of them. 'Protect my brother, if they get past me im counting on you to protect him. Please. Besides ive taken on six at a time before ill be fine.' I hope.

'Dont take any unnecessary risks, or im jumping in.'

'Got it!' I told her before cutting off the link.

Six rouges, piece of cake I thought. 'Hey Crimson, lets get a little pay back for big brother and sprinkles. What do you say?' I ask my wolf.

'I WANT THERE BLOOD! But so you know, I wont be fully happy till all the rouges are dead that hurt them.' she yelled and then talked calmly. My thoughts exactly and with that we charged at them.

I took down the first one breaking his neck quick and tossed him to the side. One down five to go. I swiped my front paw at one, which senting her flying into a tree. I kicked my back legs out sending two flying back alittle. I bit into one of the others shoulder and he yelped in pain. The other one swiped at my face but I moved just in time to avoid it.

I jumped on her grabbing her neck and wasted no time in ripping her throat out. Two down four to go. Fuck this is bad im starting to get tired, but I couldn't stop yet.

They started to circle me. I growled loudly and snapped my teeth at them. I ducked down when one jumped at me, but took down one of his buddys. Oh the irony, the one in front of me lunges for my neck but I dodged him and ran my claws down his side.

The one behind me jumped at me, but I wasn't quick enough, because he dug his claws in my side and then bit my butt. REALLY! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! HE BIT MY ASS! THAT ASSHOLE! I herd Crimson yell. FOCUSE DAMN IT! I yell at her. I kicked him off me and whipped around and ripped out a chunk of his throat making blood spray everywhere. He fell to the ground gasping for air slowly dying. Three down three to go.

I can feel my energy draining quick, I have to finish this fast or were all in trouble.

The one that jumped at me earlier just bit into my shoulder, making the wound from earlier worse. Son of a bitch! I shook her off, then threw her into a tree breaking her back. She was down for the count right now.

I growled lowly, at them and they growled back. I charged at them again grabbing and breaking ones neck while the other jumped on my back and dragging his claws down my back. I yelped in pain, oh for fucks sake I thought. I slammed him into a tree knocking him off me I turned and ripped his throat out. Five down one left.

As im turning around, I get thrown into a tree. Fuck that hurt! I looked up and it was the last rouge. Damn she healed quick. It was getting a little hard to breathe and I could start to see black spots. I shook my head and got to my feet, wasting no time I launched myself at her and pinned her to the ground. She whimpered but I didnt by it I growled at her then broke her neck.

I made my way back to sprinkles slowly and mindlinked her 'are you two ok?'

'Ye-yeah, umm, remind me never to piss you off'

'Will do' I shifted back to my human form and collapsed on the ground by her and my brother, 'sorry I need to rest for a bit and im tired. That and between me and my wolf we are to tired to keep our wolf form.'
