Chapter Twenty Two

*Pack Doctors POV*

I was sitting in my office getting ready to make my rounds. When one of the pack warriors came running in yelling "doc, we have three wounded in the back yard come quick." I sprang to my feet, and grabbed my medical bag and ran out the door with some of my nurses hot on my heels.

I ran into the back yard and saw Ivy, a white leopard, and a man they were all unconscious. I ran to Ivy first and grabbed gauze and quickly put in on her shoulder. "Get three rooms ready now!" I ordered one of my nuses. "The rest of you help me put them on stretchers and get them in side!" I was yelling orders left and right.

Once they were on stretchers we took off running back inside. "Put him in room three." I said pointing to the guy. "Put her in room two" pointing at Ivy. "And put the leopard in room one." Everyone was running around it was almost chaos.

"Dont let anyone back till I come out to get them got it!?" They all nod. I went into room one with the leopard first because I didnt know when she would wake up and or if she was hostile. I checked her wounds, which were shallow, but other than that she was just exhausted, and dehydrated. I gave her a shot of morphine to help with the pain. I walked out and locked the door and said "this door is to remain locked at all times and NO ONE is to go inside. I dont want anyone to get hurt." They nodded, but to be on the safe side I had a pack warrior posted out side the door for safety reasons.

Then I walked to room three, where the unknown man was. I was looking him over, he had bruises, dried blood, scratches and bites all over his body. He looked like both his legs were broken but were healing slowly, almost to slow. His shoulders were swollen like they were dislocated, then put back in place. His face was still swollen and his nose had darker bruising around it so im guessing it was broken. I drew some blood from him and gave it to one of my nuses to have it checked. Hopefully ill know something in about ten minutes.

After she left, I started to hook him up to a heart monitor and an IV and started giving him fluids to help flush his system of what ever might be there. I also gave him a shot of morphine to help with the pain, then put him on a morphine drip. When I was done the nurse came back in with the results. She handed me the paperwork and it said he had small amounts of sliver left in his system. Well that explains why he is healing really slow. All we can do now is wait for him to wake up. I told a couple of nurses to give him a bath and clean the blood off of him.

I left the room and sighed deeply and walked to room two. I had one of the nurses come in with me. Her shoulder was healing nicely, and the claw marks on her back were closeing. Other than that she had small scratches and a couple of bite marks.

I hooked her up to a heart monitor to just be safe, as I was doing this I noticed she had been marked by four males. "Oh fuck" I whispered. "Whats wrong doctor?"

"She has been marked by four male" I pointed to them. She looked at it and said "I dont understand."

"These three are her mates mark,"I said pointing to her right shoulder. "But this one is not her mates" I said pointing to her left shoulder. She had brought her hand to her mouth and gasp. I looked at her and said "you are to be her only nurse till she wakes up and you are NOT to say a word to anyone about this." She nods her head, then I have her clean her up after I leave.

I walked out into the hall and said "well if my day wasnt bad enough this just fucked it up more." I shook my head and rubbed my face, now for the hard part.

I walked out to the waiting room, all four of them jumped up and came over to me. Before they could say anything I held up my hand and said "before you ask, shes...."

I was cut off by a loud crash "wait here" I yelled as I took off back to there rooms. Did they wait there? Hell no! They followed me back. The door to room one was broken in half and the warrior was on the ground unconscious, im guessing because of the sudden impact.

Then I noticed Ivy's door had claw marks and the handle was broken. It was open just a little, so I slowly opened the door and my breath hitched in my throat at what I saw.

The white leopard was on top of Ivy's body in a protective stance. But why? Then I herd four low threatening growls come from behind me and one loud warning growl from in front of me. They were about to attack her when I yelled "WAIT! DONT MOVE! SHE IS JUST TRYING TO PROTECT HER! LOOK! AND IF YOU ATTACK SHE COULD GET HURT IN THE PROCESS!" They stopped suddenly and took a good look.

"Go back to the waiting room NOW! I don't want anyone else to get hurt, ill handle this! Im the doctor!" They didnt move, they just started growling again "NOW!" I yelled.

They slowly backed up and left, oh but if looks could kill, I would be dead four times over.

I turned back to her and I notice that she relaxed a little "im not going to hurt you or her ok?" She just continued to growl. "I wont let anyone else come in here but me ok? But ill only come in to check on her to make sure shes healing right." She started growling softer and nodded her head like she understands. Then she laid on her legs and rested her head on her stomach and started to purr in affection to her.

I took a deep breath, walked out of the room slowly and shut the door. How did I get myself into this?

I leaned on the wall next to her door, all I could do was shake my head. I sear if I live threw this, im taking a vacation. I looked up and saw the nurse about to go in when I stopped her "No, dont go in. No one is aloud in the room but me. Makes sure everyone else knows to stay out. Oh and hows that warriors?" She said that he was fine just a bruised ego. I laughed at that part, then she left. I was standing there alone with my own thoughts.

Really moon goddess? What the hell are you trying to do? I guess your trying to get me killed! because I still have to go out there and talk to them! and tell them whats going on! Im to young to die! Damn it! Ahhh!

I grunted and walked out to the waiting room, well im fucked! I am so dead, because there is four, I REPEAT, FOUR very strong, very large, and very pissed off wolves. Yes wolves! I shit you not I think I just died a little. Well then again I guess its my time to go because I did tell them to leave, so they were so mad they shifted. Well shit! Thats it! My life is over! Moon goddess here I come!

I took a deep breath and I thought show no fear! Ha, yeah right! What the hell am I saying im going to be killed! Because at any moment ill get my ass handed to me! I mean one wolf I can handle, but four? FOUR! Fuck! I really hate my job sometimes, I take a deep breath and said "if you want to know how she is doing, you are going to have to shift back." They growled, and I think I peed a little. Then they finally shifted back, and I filled them in on everything except for one tiny tiny thing. Yup, you guessed it, it was the fourth mark on her neck. Ill let HER tell them when she wakes up, because I dont feel like dying today. I already lost who know how many years of my life because of all this shit! I need a drink!

After I was done filling them in, I told them "after she wakes up and calms the leopard down, no one is to go in there." They growled but I held my ground and said "im sorry, Im only saying this so no one gets hurt. Ok?" Lets just say, they were not happy campers, and like I said before, if looks could kill. I. Would. Be. Dead!
