"is it really just a dream?"

-Prologue-

note: this isnt an important chapter to read, you can go onto the 1st chapter if you dont want to read this part, its just a prolouge for backstory & context.

Sierra Milton was driving in her mustang with her best friend, casilda, on her way to the Chase Atlantic concert. They had been on tour for a little over a month now, the tour was for their album, dont try this.

Sierra had loved the band since it started up, back in 2015. She loved the way the chords hit her ear oh so perfectly. She also loved how good their electric guitar players were.

Sierra was really interested in the electric guitar herself, she always watched videos of people playing it on YouTube but she was a broke college student so she couldn't afford one herself. Although she was studying psycology, not electric guitar.

Sierra wore a black sheer long sleeve cropped shirt with gold sparkles all over it, a black bralette under that, a short and tight black leather skirt, and to top it off, along with it she wore fishnet tights and combat boots that had chains across them. She felt very overdressed but figured if she was going to be at a concert with other people around her very close, she should at least look good doing it.

When they arrived at the venue, there was practically no line anywhere. They entered the main area and scanned the barcode on their wristbands before entering the pit. They got front row, pushing up against the barricade. People started pushing in behind the girls, as they took pictures of the venue.

Before they knew it an opening band came on and played some songs, followed by a small intermission before chase Atlantic came on.

It was an absolute dream for the girls. When Christian threw his pic, Sierra caught it right in her hand.

And then!

Mitchel grabbed sierras hand and magically lifted her up to the stage and sang the lyrics with her!

And then Sierra woke up.

She was actually in line at a Starbucks, looking at videos from chase Atlantic's concert from the night before. She didn't actually have tickets; she was just dreaming. They were on tour for a pretty long time now, but the tickets for her local concert were over 200 bucks. Damn LA fangirls.

The barista called out sierras name, which pulled her out of her daze. Sierra went up and grabbed her cup, full of green tea. Sierra always had this thing where she drank green tea in the morning.

She sat down at a window table, it was a bar table, so her legs dangled from the chair, the cold air hitting her shins. She had completely forgotten that it was literally December, it was almost snowing out and Sierra decided to wear a grey hoodie and blue soft lounge shorts. Granted, she grew up in upstate new York so she was very used to the cold, but not the Starbucks ac cold. The hipsters like to freeze in their free time.

To be frank, Sierra hated living in LA. There were too many young kids here. She was also a young kid, but not the type that the millennials want to be. The kids who do titoki dances on the hall of fame, the picture wall kids, hell she was in a café full of them kids. Often referred to as the hipsters.

Getting back on the original topic, Sierra hated being in the crowded city. There were always entitled celebrities that try to bribe their way into everything, the clubs were always packed, according to casilda at least.

even though sierra hated clubs, she was definitly one to drink. Of course, she smoked weed before, what kid in a new York high school hasn't? Sierra was a pro at hiding the stash from her parents. Other than that, she'd never done hard drugs like coke, only weed. She was the type to do illegal shit back when she was in high school, such as stealing jewelry from Walmart and trespassing into the rich neighbor's backyard forest to drink and smoke because he has a second garage back there, he forgot about. She actually used to do that; she'd throw parties back there.
