19: Marinette's Birthday

Weeks passed and Marinette and Adrien only had eye contact with Lila. She took Gabriel's money and made a living for herself. Not that Adrien cared, he didn't need his dad's money. But he didn't liked that Lila got it all.

Adrien went to Marinette's bakery. Marinette opened the door. "Happy birthday!"

Mariette was shocked. "Oh yeah, it's my birthday today."

"You-you forgot your own birthday?"

"Kinda?"

"Marinette.."

"What, don't blame me. I have a lot on my mind right now to think about my birthday." Marinette glanced at her phone. "Maybe Amber called me."

She turned her phone on and it was swamped with messages.

"I can't believe you forgot your own birthday. Hey, we should do something fun."

"Yeah, like patrol through Paris again."

"Again? We did that yesterday."

"And we should do it today too. Maybe they planned something."

"Or we could take a rest."

"I refuse."

"Alright, we're gonna do something fun."

"No. Tikki Spots-"

"Marinette!"

"-on."

Adrien gave her a look but Ladybug just didn't cared. "See you on the rooftops." and she swung out the window.

"Happy birthday to yo-" Sabine and Tom came out with a cake but saw only Adrien. "Adrien? Where's Mari-"

"She went patrolling."

"On her birthday?"

"You know how she is."

"Well, I'll come by later."

Adrien got an idea. "Hey Sabine, listen, when Marinette comes back, can you keep her busy for a few hours? I have an idea for her birthday."

Sabine nodded and Adrien called Thomas. "Yeah? Amber get off Mia- what do you need Adrien, I'm busy here- Amber get off your friend!"

"Uh. Do I need to call later?"

"N- no, no need- Amber! What do you need? I'm babysitting Amber here because she's gone crazy and is now standing on everyone. When are you coming back?"

Adrien smirked. "You know how today's Marinette's birthday?"

"I do yes. Amber made everyone crazy about it today."

"I have this idea for her birthday."

"Go on."

Marinette swingend through her window where Sabine waited on her and detransformed. "Mom?"

"Marinette!" she sounded so happy. "We are gonna spend the whole day baking!"

"Oh, really?"

"Yes! Cmon, your father is waiting for you."

"Uh- ok? But what about Adrien?"

"Adrien has other stuff to do." Marinette got dragged by Sabine to come down while Adrien walked outside. He turned left and saw a red car coming his way.

When the car stopped, Amber and Thomas got out. "Where is she?"

"At home. But hold your excitement for your girlfriend a little more. We're going to our old school and plan her birthday there. I also invited some old friends."

The both nodded and entered the school through the back door. They saw everyone already prepping the stuff.

Alix saw them enter and ran to Adrien and hugged him. "Nothings been the same since you left. We missed you."

"Yeah. How's everyone holding up?"

"Rose misses Alya a lot."

"I get that." he stepped right. "These are Thomas and Amber. They're our friends from New York. They came for Marinette's birthday."

Amber coughed.

"Right. Amber is Marinette's girlfriend."

"Shit, she you two didn't end up together?"

Adrien shakes his head. "When I wanted to tell her she was already with Amber."

Amber flipped her hair. "So, what do I need to help with?"

Alix looked around. "You see those two guys? One with tomato red hair and the other with jet black hair? Yeah, help them. They'll tell you what to do."

Amber left and Alix turned to Adrien. "I like her already."

Adrien chuckled.

Thomas looked around. "Are there any single girls?"

"Thomas!"

Alix chuckled. "Well, Juleka finally got the courage to tell Rose her feelings, Chloe and Sabrina have something going on too and I'm a single lesbian."

Thomas turned to Adrien. "You're class is fucking fruity."

Adrien nodded. He looked around but saw some people missing. "Where are Mylene and Ivan?"

Alix sighed. "Ivan cheated on her two weeks after the graduation so they broke up. Mylene moved to Washington to fight against global warming and all those stuff and Ivan moved to Italy with his new girlfriend."

"But they were so close."

"Yeah...about that. Ivan became kind of a dick as the years passed."

"Fast! Everyone hide! Miss Cheng texted me saying Marinette is on her way!"

Alix dragged Adrien and Thomas in the locker room and looked through the window

Marinette walked in the school and look around, confused. Sabine came standing next to her. "What's wrong?"

"Rose texted me to come here at this hour, but no one's here."

Sabine smirked.
