23: Marinette's Happiness

"Ok. So all we have now is: karate kick her into a coma. That's all." Mia looked into the room. "Seriously? No one has any ideas?"

Thomas sighed. "Well we can curse her like Aurora for her to sleep a hundred years."

"How do you expect to do that?"

"Magic."

"We're not in a fairytale, Thomas."

"Then punch her in the face so hard, she won't be awake for a few days."

"Not that extreme, Tommy."

"Oh and karate chopping her into a coma isn't extreme?"

Adrien stood up. "Okay, both of you. Cut it out. We are not karate chopping Marinette into a coma or punching her in the face."

Mia leaned back. "Okay. But then somebody better come up with an idea."

The door opened and a crying Marinette opened the door. "The doctors called! There's improvement on Amber!"

"Then why are you crying?"

"These are happy tears, come on, let's go!"

They stormed through the doors and saw Amber sitting on her bed, smiling and alive. "Amber!" Marinette ran up to Amber and then hugged her. Then slapped her.

"Ow, what the fuck, Marinette."

"You dare do something like this again, and I'm dropkicking you right to heaven myself."

Amber chuckled. "Okay, okay, i won't."

"Mia wanted to karate chop Marinette into a coma!" Adrien screamed out.

Mia elbowed Adrien, "Dude, what the hell."

Amber and Marinette both stared at them. "What?"

Mia sighed. "Marinette was very cranky and she was irritated by everything and everything. So we gathered together to search for a plan to stop her from being like that."

"And your plan was to karate chop me into a coma?"

"Thomas wanted to curse you to sleep a hundred years and then punch you."

Marinette turned to Thomas, who was looking all innocent. "What?"

"You were very irritated by every single thing. We had enough."

"And punching me jn the face would've made it better?"

"Uhh-"

Marinette ignored Thomas and turned to the doctor. "When will she be able to come back?"

The doctor smiled and took off his glasses. "She's in an excellent state. So you can take her today. Just, she needs to take these anti depressant pills, so nothing like this happens again."

Marinette nodded, and the doctor left while Marinette started giving Amber clothes she's been carrying everywhere with. Just in case.

They got in their dorm and Marinette sat down on her bed. "I don't think we should move in together."

Amber agreed. "Yeah. We live actress the hall of each other. That will do."

"Finally yall listen to me." Thomas said jumping on his bed.

"Yeah, I'm going back to Paris. I put Alix in charge, but she said she really needs me now."

"Sure. But we're only getting married when you catched Lila and Alya. You need to be here."

"Yeah." Amber put her arm around Adrien. "Someone needs to babysit Thomas at out wedding."

Adrien chuckled. "Aaand she's back."

Marinette kissed Amber on the lips. "And she's never leaving."

"So....what should we do now?"

"Yall have classes. I'm leaving to Paris."

Marinette checked her phone. "I don't have classes. They were canceled." Marinette looked up from her phone, at Talia. They both jumped around holding hands like little kids. "Movie marathon!" they both squealed.

"Now you're making it hard for me to leave."

Marinette pushed Adrien through the door and closed the door. "Now it's easy!"

Amber chuckled. Adrien banged on the door. "Cmon Marinette! It's not funny! I wanna participate in the movie marathon!"

"You have a plane to catch!"

"But I don't wanna!"

"Quit being a baby and go save Paris!"

Adrien groaned. "Ugh fine. But if you're watching my favorite movie while I'm in Paris, I'm gonna jump off a building."

"Sure sure. We won't watch Frozen."

Thomas snorted. "Bro, you like Frozen?"

"Anna's death always gets me, okay?"

"Whatever you say dude." Thomas laughed.

Amber looked around. She felt bad. She forgot how much she missed all this.

"Oh before I forget." Talia took something out of her pocket. "I found your engagement rings."

"Oh my god, you found them?" Marinette took the rings out of Talias's hand.

"Yeah. Thought you would like them back."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Marinette walked smiling towards Amber. She put the ring on Amber's ring finger and put the other on her finger.

They were both crying from happiness. They loved each other a lot and Amber promised she'd never let Marinette go through that stuff ever again.
