21: Problems

Marinette entered the hall and saw nobody outside in the hall. She smirked and Amber chuckled. "Do it."

Marinette raised her arm and screamed. "I'M ENGAGAED!"

Suddenly the hall was filled with students coming out of their dorms. Talia came running over to Marinette and checked her ring. "Damn that's a big rock."

"I know!" they both squealed and jumped around.

"So, where the lucky guy?" Talia winked.

"Actually." she grabbed Amber. "It's the lucky girl."

"Oh my God!"

Everyone in the hall cheered as Marinette and Amber walked to their dorm.

"Hey, what if we change dorms. Like, since we're a thing, you live here and Thomas goes and lives with Adrien."

Thomas who was eating the snacks he took out of the airport finally listened. "I'm sorry, shouldn't we discuss this? I mean, you just got engaged and you're deciding already to move in together."

Marinette and Amber nodded. "Yeah. What's wrong with that?"

Thomas sighed. "Now suddenly I'm the mature person here. Now I just think that you're going too fast like what, you've known each other for 5 months, have been in a relationship for 1 month, haven't seen each other for 5 weeks, you got engaged very fast and now the moment you get back, you wanna move in together. "

"Do you have a problem with this just because you're moving out?"

"No! My problem is, is that you two are rushing things. It's not like Amber lives in another building. She's right across the hall. You can sleep at each other, but why rush things."

"I don't feel like we're rushing anything."

"No because you're some dumb lesbians who got engaged."

"I'm bisexual-"

"Marinette shut up. The point I'm trying to make is that no one is moving anywhere. You're just gonna have to visit each other."

"No."

Thomas looked at Marinette with a firm face. "What do you mean no? You know, since you're with Amber, her stubbornness is rubbing off on you."

"You know what Thomas? Fuck you!" Marinette took Thomas by his arm and threw him out of the dorm. "Really, fuck you."

"No fuck YOU!" Thomas slammed the dorm and was heard to enter Adriens dorm and slam the door.

Marinette sighed. Was she really going too fast? Was Thomas right?

Amber saw how stressfull she was. "Okay, you know what? Fuck the engagement. Give me the ring."

Marinette gave Amber her ring and she threw them out the window. "Fuck everything!"

"What the hell are you doing?"

"You heard Thomas, I'm bad for you."

"No you're not! Thomas doesn't know what he's talking about!"

"Fuck off."

"Amber?"

"Don't follow me." Amber left and stormed out of the building. Marinette marched to where Thomas was and stormed in the dorm. "You happy now? She's angry, she threw out engagement rings out the window and she ran away."

"Hah, classic Amber."

"Wha- do you fucking listen to me shithead? Maybe you didn't loved her when you two were together. But I fucking love her, okay? So get your head out of your ass." Marinette stormed out of the building. She couldn't take it anymore.

After a few minutes she returned, having taken a fresh breath of air and plopped on her bed.

The door opened and Talia burst into the dorm looking all panicked. "Guys, you need to come to the hospital."

Marinette put her shoes down and turned to Talia. "Why, what happened?"

"Amber tried killing herself."

"Oh no not her too. Thomas, we're taking your car."

"Fine by me."

"I'm calling Adrien, to keep him up to date."

The three stormed in the hospital running to the reception. "Hey, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng, they are Thomas Kent and Talia Thierry. We're here to visit Amber Ashford."

The girl behind the counter' s face straightened. "Oh of course. Let me check. Ah she's in room A12."

"Thanks so much!" they rushed to the room to find Amber. When they got to the room they saw a lot of doctors outside.

One of the hot doctors stopped them. "Hey hey hey, you can't go in there."

"Yes we can! She's my fiance!"

The doctor didn't said a word. Marinette already knew what it meant and she wasn't just gonna let more important people in her life die.

"You, doctor uh"

"Doctor Jenkins"

"Doctor Jenkins. You sir are gonna do everything possible to save my fiance!"

"We would. And there IS a way to do that, but it's very dangerous."

"Do it! Please! I'd do everything to save her!"

Doctor Jenkins looked at Marinette's finger. "I don't see a ring."

"Yeah, we got in an argument and she threw them out our dorm window- can you save her? Please? I beg you, she's the only person I ever loved this much." Marinette was basically crying.

Talia and Thomas looked at each other. "Cough cough."

Marinette raised a brow. "That's my fiance. Are you my fiances? No? Then shut up."

Doctor Jenkins cleared his throat. "We are gonna do everything possible to save miss Ashford. You three wait outside. Thank you."

Doctor Jenkins closed the door. Now all she had to do was wait.

And it was killing her.
