14: Talia

Marinette sat in class waiting for the results. Talia, who saw she was nervous, calmed her down. "Easy Marinette." she put her hand on Marinette's shaking leg. Talia had obviously experience with people having anxiety attacks.

Miss Gonzalez walked around the class handing out the essays. Looking at her face, she wasn't in a good mood.

"Kelly, 30/100. You could've done better."

Marinette glanced at Talia and whispered. "It's on a hundred points?"

"Apparently." Talia said looking at front. Gonzalez was already with them and till now nobody passed it. Marinette looked over at Adrien who looked at his paper and smiled.

Miss Gonzalez look at the class. "Take Adrien's example. He's the only one till now who got decent grades."

Talia looked at Marinette and raised an eyebrow.

Miss Talia." Gonzalez slammed the essays on their table. "You shouldn't be fooling around. Everything you should do, is quit partying and work for this class.' she gave Talia her essay and looked over at Marinette who was visibly having an anxiety attack.

Gonzalez smiled and handed Marinette her essay. "Good job." and walked away. Good job? What?

Marinette looked at her essay and her eyes grew big. She turned to Gonzalez who smiled. She looked over at Talia who had put her head down. Marinette took Talia's essay and saw she failed hard. She had worse than Kelly, just because she searched it on Wikipedia.

RING

They walked out the classroom and Marinette offered if she would like to come to her dorm to cool off. Talia's roommate was fixated on having good grades. If she went to her dorm now, Nitya would give her a preach about good grades.

Marinette entered her dorm and saw Thomas and Adrien arm-wrestling, while Amber was filming the whole thing.

She had no idea how Adrien got here so fast, but she put Talia on her bed and both watched the guys arm wrestle.

"So, is this how it usually goes?"

"Kinda. You see that girl who's filming? That's Amber and she's sharing a dorm with Adrien. That blonde boy who looks like he's gonna break Adrien's arm is Thomas. He's my roommate."

"It's so nice here."

Marinette chuckles. "That happens."

"Yes! I won!" Thomas got up and did his victory dance.

Adrien looked at his hand. "I think i need a doctor."

Amber stopped filming and went over to Talia and Marinette. "Hi, I'm Amber. I'm the cool lesbian best friend around here. And you are?"

"This is Talia. Her roommate is a good grades freak, so she's staying here."

"Sucks. Welcome. And how much did you get?" Amber asked looking at Marinette.

"90/100."

"Go girly, that's actually good!"

"I know! She finally likes me."

The door opened and a girl with black long hair, of Indian descent walked in.

"Nitya, what are you doing here?"

"Someone told me that she heard from a friend from that friend who heard it from her friend who was in your classs that you failed!"

Talia didn't said anything. Instead, Marinette got up from her bed and showed Nitya the door. "Bye bye." and closed the door on her. She grabbed the key she hid in her mattress and locked the door.

She turned to Talia. "Now you're safe." Marinette winked. Talia smiled.

"So that's where that key went!"

Marinette chuckled and walked towards Talia. "You can sleep with us if you want."

Thomas pushed Adrien off his bed. "There's place in my bed."

Adrien fell on the floor. "Hey!"

Talia smiled. "Thank you, I appreciate it but I won't hide in your dorm forever. I have to deal w Nitya eventually. Thank you for the offer tho, Marinette." she hugged Marinette and she unlocked the door. Nitya was nowhere to be seen. She probably went back to her dorm.

Talia turned to Marinette. "If I don't send you a message. It means I'm dead."

Marinette chuckled and let Talia out. She closed the door and turned to Thomas who gave her an angry face.

"What?"

"She was hot!"

"Oh god Thomas. She's my friend! You're not gonna date my friend."

"I think I need to see a doctor."

Everyone turned to Adrien who finally got on Thomas' bed again. "I think my wrist is broken."

"Don't be such a wuss."

"Okay, Adrien, go to your dorm. Amber, go and lock that dorm so he won't get out."

Amber smirked. "Gladly."

Amber dragged Adrien to their dorm grabbed the key from under her bed and locked the door.

Adrien didn't protest. Now he had time to learn for his exams.

Amber ran to Marinette's dorm again and sat on Mari's bed. "Sooo? Does someone like someone?" Amber winked at Marinette.

"Actually, I haven't really looked at the students here. I mean, I was very busy with like, keeping my grades high."

"Then we should walk around. What are you? Straight, bi, pan? Ooh, r you ace?"

"Ace? No, I'm bi." Marinette chuckled. Amber's eyes lit up. So I can still get her.

Well then, let's go to find you a boyfriend or a girlfriend."

"Uh hello? A perfect good guy who can hear standing right here?"

Marinette eyed him up and down. "You're my friend, Thomas."

"Uhm I'm sorry, but it happened to Monica and Chandler! And those two were friends too!"

Marinette rolled her eyes. "Grow up." and Marinette left the dorm.

Amber closed the door mouthing to Thomas. "I'm gonna get her." and walked happily away.
