So this isn't an update...
But I have something to share with all of those who've read this story and saved it. I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, but this year I got the best gift.
Every year me and my siblings (all four of them) always exchange our gifts to each other either the day before or a few days before the 25th and that's what we did today.
My little brother, who's been with me on this story from the beginning and helped me come up with the idea, gave me his gift last out all of us.
When I tore off the wrapping paper it was a book. An old book it seemed, or a well worn one. It had a blurry picture of a castle taped messily to the front, and the spine seemed cheap.
At first I was confused, until I looked at the title.
Ahhhh!!!!!
He told me it took a few weeks to print everything out, make the cover and the spine, and figure out how to put it all together.
(Here's the cover)
It's probably one of my happiest holiday memories, and by far my favorite gift. It's one of those things that happens to you where you can't stop smiling, and every time you see it it makes you start grinning again.
I know I've been pretty inactive recently, and I can't exactly promise to start writing lots more. But I can say I'm happy and thankful for every single person who decided to click on my story, every single person who commented, and for everyone who takes the time to read this.
I hope everyone is warm, safe, and has a great new year.
