Marinette POV

After what happened last night, we met up during Maths and discussed about what we saw.

"Seriously, I'm still confused about what happened last night. The akumas we fought we just shadows?" Cassie said.

"It's strange, they felt real. They even look real." I added.

"Without a doubt it was one of Shadow Wing's abilities. Last time I fought him, he only used duplicates of himself to fight me. He never used duplicates of other people." Isaac said.

We looked at Isaac in astonishment.

"Wait, you knew about this?" Cassie asked.

"More or less." The spider hero answered, rubbing his neck.

"A heads up would've been nice." Alya said with a frown.

"Sorry. Since I thought it was lost at sea, it slipped my mind." Isaac said, lowering his head, the front of his hair covered his eyes. Cassie stroked his head.

"What matters now is that Shadow Owl must be stopped." I said.

"Class. We have 2 new students joining our class today." Ms Mendeleiev announced.

A black haired boy stood in front of the class. He had light blue eyes, peach skin and a perfect grin on his face. He wore a black t-shirt with a grey cardigan over it, blue jeans and orange and black sneakers. Next to him was a girl with hazel hair, purple eyes and a tanned skin colour. She wore a dark blue jumper with black jeans and brown loafers.

"Hello, my name is August Smith. I'm an exchange student from Elton academy. Nice to meet you." The boy said with a smile.

"Hi, my name is Lilly Summers. Good to meet you." The girl said with a cheery smile.

The class greeted the two students, except Isaac, who was giving the two students a suspicious look. The students sat behind us, next to Chloe. August gave Isaac a dirty look.

"Isaac, what's up?" I asked.

Isaac shook his head.

"Nothing." He replied and looked at the whiteboard.

I looked back at August, who winked at me. I raised an eyebrow and looked away.

What was that about? I thought.
