Warning: Implications of GBH and Torture
Isaac POV
After getting some homework done, I decided to go on patrol since the others are busy. I swung from web to web as I ventured my way through the streets.
Apart from the minor convenience storm robbery, not much has happened.
Not that I'm complaining or anything.
After a while, I bought myself some coffee and a bacon and cheese sandwich and sat down on a roof. The warmth of the sandwich and the coffee's bitterness helped simmer my nerves and deal with the bitter cold. I heaved a heavy sigh.
"I like it when it's quiet." I heard a voice behind me. Luka wearing Chat Noir's attire, except he has a hood instead of a fake pair of cats ears.
"I thought you was busy." I said, sipping my coffee.
"Finished early. And I got bored playing with my guitar. So I decided to do some patrolling tonight." Luka said and sat next to me.
"Which one? Your actual guitar or the one downstairs?" I asked with a smirk.
"Asshole." Luka chuckled as he lightly punched me in the arm.
"Just joking, man." I said.
We chuckled for a bit before it died down.
"So, you ok? After the whole Cassie kissing another guy in front of you?" Luka asked.
"Hmph. Not really. Cassie's not the type of person who would go back on her word. So why would she kiss August, despite just knowing him a couple weeks ago?" I asked.
"Because of that kiss with Alix." Luka said. I glanced at him.
"I didn't kiss Alix. I wouldn't do that." I said.
"I know. And I believe you." Luka said.
I almost choked on my sandwich when I heard that.
"You what?" I asked.
"I believe you. I too think there's something fishy with August and Lily. And I've been helping Chloe and Zoe with this investigation. Along with Nino and Alya." Luka explained.
"How come I never knew about this?" I asked.
"You were giving us the cold shoulder." He replied.
"I was in a bad mood, dude." I said sourly.
"When are you never in a bad mood?" Luka asked with a smirk.
"F*ck you." I said with a scowl.
Luka laughed as I scoffed and finished my sandwich. We felt our communicator ringing.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Ike! Luka! Is that you!?" Marinette called. Her voice filled with panic.
"Mari? What's up?" I asked.
"It's Chat Blanc, he's back. And he's not alone." She said.
"Where are you?" Luka asked.
"My bedroom. Please hurry!" She said.
"Hang tight, Melody! We're on our way!" Luka said and darted across the rooftops. I quickly gulped down my coffee, cursing after I burnt my tongue, and followed Luka.
Marinette POV
I quickly made my way to the balcony and switched into Ladybug. I saw the door break open and gasped. King Monkey, Pigletta, Multimouse, Minotaurox, Coq Courage and Pegasus came into my room and smiled as they saw me climb up to the roof. Chat Blanc stood in front of me.
