I gasped and sat up right sharply, only to clutch my stomach in pain. I looked around and found myself sitting on a futon.
"Hey, you're awake." Luka said. He had a band aid on his cheek, but still flashed a hopeful smile.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I think you passed out when we were going to Fu's dojo. It's a good thing we got here before you bleed out. Fu had to cauterize the wound before healing it." Luka said.
I looked around, but couldn't find the others.
"They left 6 hours ago. Seems that the message from Mr Butterfly really shook them up. So they went to go and take him down. Marinette told me to stay behind and keep an eye on you, despite my protests." Luka answered, despite the fact a never asked.
"That's great and all but I can't stay. I have to go and help." I said as I tried to get up. The pain in my stomach wound flared, causing me to sit back down. Master Fu entered the room and sighed.
"Your guardian said you've always been stubborn. I didn't believe her until now." He said and dabbed my sweating forehead.
"I have to go back and help the others. Not to mention, Cassie needs me." I said.
"First, I need to teach you something. It'll help you in the future." He said .
I sighed with annoyance and sat up right. Luka sat next to me.
"Now, I'm sure you hear of chi." He said.
"The life force around us, yeah. Why'd you ask?" I answered.
"In Japan, between the 15th and 17th century, ninja's were taught this meditation technique in the art of ninjutsu. It is called Kuji-in. Also known as the Nine Hand Seals. It is a system of mudras and associated mantras that consist of nine syllables. These seals are:
(臨) Rin – POWER over oneself & others(兵) pyo – DIRECTION of Energy(闘) Toh – HARMONY with nature(者) Sha – HEALING of oneself & others(皆) Kai – PREMONITION of danger(陣) Jin– KNOWING the thoughts of others(列) Retsu – Dimension(在) Zai - Creation(前) Zen – ENLIGHTENMENT
These hand seals have been used for many techniques. Including healing, using chi to further enhance ones strength etc. Watch closely."
Master Fu muttered the mantras as he performed the hand seals. After he finished, his hands glowed a beautiful emerald green.
"Holy cow. That's impressive!" I gasped.
"No wonder you was able to heal most of our injuries." Luka said in awe.
Fu nodded and closed his hands, extinguishing the green flame.
"I taught this to Marinette and her friends before they left the find Adrien." He said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Are you alright?" Luka asked.
"Yes. I'm fine. It seams that it required more chi than I thought. Overusing the technique would have a massive impact on the body." Fu said.
"Masster. I believe we sssshould get going." Luka's kwami, Sass called out.
"Sass's right. We better catch up with the others. I think they're heading to a Lile." Luka said.
"And I'm going with you." A voice called out. We saw Alix standing outside the dojo.
"How long have you been there?" I asked.
"Been here the whole time. I want to help." She said.
"After what you did to Mari-" Luka said.
"I know. And that's why I want to help. If you'll let me." She said. Alix was clutching on to the Bunny miraculous. A pocket watch.
"Alright. You can come." I said.
"Really?" Alix gasped.
"Isaac, are you sure? She helped Lila." Luka said.
"But she didn't bully Marinette. Only gave her the cold shoulder. Unlike the rest of her former friends, Alix wants to make amends. Even if Marinette will never forgive her." I said.
Luka and I regarded each other for a moment.
"Alright. She can come." Luka sighed.
"I won't let you down." Alix beamed.
"I know. Before we head out, I need to try something." I said and stood up.
Here goes. I thought.

"Rin. Pyo. To. Sha. Kai. Jin. Retsu. Zai. Zen." I muttered. A red flame of chi flared in my hands. Without hesitation, I pushed my hands onto my stomach wound. Pain sheared as I felt the wound closing. I had to knell in order to bear the pain. After I finished, I removed the bandage and inspected my wound.
"The wound and the pain are gone." I sighed.
"So, it worked?" Alix asked.
"Yeah." I said as I stood up. Arachne nuzzled my cheek and smiled.
"Ready when you are boss!" She said.
"Alright. Arachne, webs out!"
I found myself wearing a red ninja suit with a black spider symbol and a mask covering the top half of my face. On my back was a katana with a black sheath. The sheath had a symbol on it.

"Cool." I said and unsheathed the katana. The blade was made out of stainless steal and the hilt had a red and black ribbon wrapped around it.
"I've made some upgrades to the miraculous while you were sleeping. The kanji on the sheath means "spider" if you are wondering." Fu said.
"Thank you, Master Fu." I said, bowing.
Luka and Alix transformed into their alter egos. Luka had a dark green ninja bodysuit ,a lyre with a hidden blade strapped to his waist and a green and black mask. Alix had a blue and white jumpsuit with white boots and a umbrella on her back.
"Time to roll!" I said and exited the dojo via the secret exit. Luka and Alix followed.
