"Sleep well last night?" Ashton chuckled seeing me sat at the table probably looking a little less than great. I was still sat in the same place he left me last night when he turned in for the night.

"Yeah absolutely great night sleep." I remarked sarcastically. "Bacon's in the oven ready for breakfast." Just as I said that three more people entered the kitchen. "I swear you all just have food radars."

"Morning babe." Luke smiled happily, kissing my temple as he took a seat along with everyone else at the table. "First day back at classes." He is way too excited to go back, it's honestly not normal. The timer on the oven dinged and I have never seen anyone move as fast as Michael. In less than thirty seconds he had the food on plates and in front of us and was already eating his own. I didn't feel much like eating as I pushed the food around with my fork as everyone else ate and conversed. "Kenzie!" Calum shouted shaking me from my thoughts. "Are you going to eat anything?"

"I'm not hungry someone else can have it." I mumbled pushing the plate away from me and standing up. "I'm heading in the shower." They didn't say anything as they watched me leave. Once I was in the shower I turned the temperature down so it wasn't cold but it wasn't warm either and began washing myself getting caught up in my own little world of thought once again. I couldn't shake the image of Michael's face when I told him I was leaving or Mr Matthews words but worst of all I was thinking of the moment I had to tell Luke. I dreaded to think how he would take the entire situation. I was eating myself alive with my own thoughts so I got myself out of the shower before I could over think the whole thing because my imagination is my own worst enemy at times.

As soon as I was out everyone else seemed to try and get in at the same time to shower and brush their teeth and style their hair and god knows what else. I just focused on getting my uniform on but I couldn't concentrate. My fingers just wouldn't seem to button up my shirt and my tie didn't want to be tied and my pants' zipper got stuck. As soon as I had my uniform on I was out of the door and into the cold winter morning air. I still had a half hour until any of my classes started so I just wandered around trying to waste a bit of time and keep my mind preoccupied. It was nearly impossible but I finally cleared my brain of any thoughts. Until my phone started to ring that is. "Kenzie where are you, you walked out this morning without saying anything and then you've skipped PE. What's wrong?" Luke didn't even wait for me to say hi before lecturing me. "It's your first day back in classes you should be here." He sighed.

"Calm down Luke. I didn't even realise I had missed first lesson I'm on my way over now." I hung up before he could say anything else and walked to the lecture theatre. This lesson wasn't too bad because all I had to do was listen and take notes. How hard can that be?

Apparently very hard.

I was bored, fidgety and couldn't concentrate on anything my lecturer was saying.  I got up to leave since I was already at the back but a hand on my wrist stopped me. I sighed in defeat and retook my seat. I couldn't seem to work out what was bothering me today and it was making me extremely irritated.

Thankfully the lecture finished half an hour early and I had no other classes scheduled for today. Luke had a free hour now but apart from that they all had classes for the rest of the day so I had some time to just sit and think until my heart was content. "Kenzie!" Luke shouted as I walked away turning around to see him running towards me. "Are you okay today you seem a little..." He struggled to find the right word. "Not you."

"I'm fine." I smiled. For once I wasn't lying either. I actually felt fine and didn't have to force a smile to make my words seem genuine. "Come on then I'll walk you home." He smiled grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers as we began the five minute walk. Once I walked in I saw a letter on the floor which was obviously addressed to me because I could see the Royal Navy logo stamped on the top of the envelope. I couldn't move fast enough as I picked it up and slid it underneath the couch without Luke seeing. We sat and cuddled and watched cartoons until it was time for him to go to his class. "Do you have to?" I whined pulling him closer to me as he attempted to pull away.
