Stepping out of the fireplace and onto Kingscross Sirius beamed with joy as he looked around for his friends.
"So I'll-" he started, turning to his brother.
His grin fell as he realized Regulus had already disappeared.
"Padfoot!" Peter called, running over to him.
His grin quickly came back and he draped an arm around him, "Hey, Wormy! You find Moony and Prongs yet?"
He shook his head, "Probably already in the compartment."
"Probably. You know Moony after all." Sirius shrugged, "Let's go look shall we?"

'Why am I always late?!' James thought to himself as he hurried on to the station.
Seeing the long, black-haired boy he grinned hurrying over, "Sirius!"
The boy turned around with an apologetic smile, "Sorry, just me."
"Regulus." He greeted, frowning at the apology, "Why are you sorry?"
"Because I'm not Sirius."
"You're sorry you're not Sirius?" James asked, confusion clear on his face.
Regulus scoffed, "No, I'm actually pretty glad I'm not him, I don't think I'd be able to stand myself if I was. I'm sorry I disappointed you."
"You didn't disappoint me."
He raised an eyebrow.
James scoffed, "Okay maybe a little, but only because I was looking for Sirius. I'm not disappointed I got to talk to you though."
"Sure you aren't."
"Shouldn't you be on the train? Think it's about to leave."
Regulus didn't get a chance to answer, Pandora coming up beside him.
"Zabini got us a compartment. He started his stupid jokes so if you can come be a buffer-"
He chuckled, giving her a soft nod, "Let's go." He whispered, draping an arm over her shoulders before looking back at James, "Nice talking to you, Potter."
"See you around, Regulus," James murmured as the other man walked away.
He headed in the opposite direction to the train, meeting his fellow marauders in a compartment.
Sirius looked over at the door with a grin pulling his hand away from Remus' hair, "There you are. Thought you decided not to come back."
Remus whined, "Sirius if you don't put that hand back in my hair right this second I'm biting it off."
Chuckling he did just that.
James rolled his eyes, taking a seat, "Mum didn't want to say goodbye. She did send gifts though." He explained handing out the jumpers his mum had bought.
"Of course she did." Remus murmured sitting up and grabbing it, "Tell her thank you for us, yeah?"
"You know, she'd prefer it from you."
He hummed, "Too bloody bad. So, I was thinking-" he started, changing the topic, "Fluorescent robes. It's a simple charm and it'll be a great start to the new school year."
Sirius looked over at him with a chuckle, "I mean if you want pink robes I'm all for it."
"Not for me you clot pole." Remus scoffed, hitting his arm, "For the Slytherins!"
