Authors note: the end of this chapter was a lot funnier in my head but I want to post the next chapter tonight so I'm not changing it. I apologize in advance.

James followed Regulus off the train allowing him to pull him to their first stop."Can I ask where we're going now?" James asked.
"To eat," Regulus answered, frowning as he looked at the street signs.
James shook his head "Are you lost?"
"No! I just... need a minute. Wait here." He ordered walking away a few steps. He pulled a letter out of his pocket reading it over again. He shoved it back into his pocket walking back, "To the right."
James nodded turning to his right and walking. Regulus looked around at the signs searching for the name of the restaurant.
"This isn't some fancy place is it?" James asked suddenly very aware of what he was wearing.
Regulus stopped walking looking up at him, "Oh. You don't- I should've asked. I assumed you wouldn't mind."
"N-no I don't mind it's just-"
"No we can- we can do something else. What- what do you want to eat?"
"Regulus its honestly fine-"
"Fine isn't good. Fine doesn't mean you're having a good time."
"I'm just not dressed appropriately for anything too fancy!"
"I like how you dress!"
James blinked, taken aback.
Regulus' eyes widened, "I didn't- I was-"
"Thank you." He whispered still in a shock.
Regulus swallowed turning around, "Yeah you're welcome." He answered, shoving his hands in his pockets, looking up at the signs to try and get the heat off his face.
"We should go eat." James offered.
"Yes we- we should. It's right over here." Regulus agreed walking on to the restaurant, not waiting for James before walking in.
James walked behind him stopping at the entrance with a sigh. He looked at the sign, 'Bocca di Lupo.' He read, 'Italian. Great.'
He walked into the restaurant pressing a hand against the small of Regulus' back as he leaned over the counter trying to get a good look at the menu.
Regulus straightened up when he felt James' hand against him.
"Sorry," James whispered pulling it off.
"No, it's fine!" He rushed to assure immediately wanting to go back in time four seconds and say it again with less neediness.
James smiled giving him a small nod as he set his hand back down, "Okay."
They were led to their table and James stood there for a second trying to decide if it would be romantic or insulting to pull Regulus' chair out for him before deciding to just sit in his own and let him do it.
"You okay?" Regulus asked as he sat down across from him, "It's like your brain reset."
James nodded, "I was just thinking."
"About?"
James looked down at his lap trying to decide if he should lie or not, "I'll give you two answers and you chose the one that doesn't make you mad at me. The lie: I was thinking about whether to have a portion of pasta or pizza. The truth: If I would've insulted you by pulling your chair out because you made it clear you don't want me acting as if you were a woman and a woman would never do that for a man but a man would for a woman but honestly I'd do that for anyone."
