      "ALL RIGHT." SASHA SAID OVER
the walkie talkie.

      "That's 20?" Daryl asked.

"It will be. 642 is a mile ahead." She replied, "We gotta put distance between and them before the turnoff.".

      "So floor it." Abraham ordered.

"Alri', try ta' keep up." Daryl responded before turning back to Taylor, "Hold on tight, babygirl.".

"Mhm." She hummed, wrapping her arms around Daryl's lower waist before he sped off, Chris, Abraham, Sasha, Jordyn, and Kenny behind them.

"Daryl, have you seen this car?" Sasah remarked, "Believe me, we want to get back there, too.".

They turned left onto 642, the horde now long behind them.

Suddenly, gunfire began going off, bullets flying at them.

"Oh shit!" Taylor pulled out her handgun, aiming her gun at the men who were shooting at them.

"Don't! Jus' keep yer head down!" Daryl ordered, speeding up.

As they went over a railroad track Daryl pulled Taylor off with him from his bike as it skidded across the ground, Sasha, Abraham, Kenny, Jordyn, and Chris being chased by a car.

Daryl picked up his bike, "You alri' babygirl?".

"Y-Yeah." She replied, brushing off the dirt on her arms.

"C'mon, we gotta get movin'." He said, starting up the engine as she hopped on.

They drove off, still being shot at as they rounded a corner clustered with walkers.

      "Shit! Hang on!" Daryl said.

They drove into the woods, stopping as they let the car chasing them go by before Daryl took a dirt road through the woods.

"I think we lost them..." Taylor sighed with relief, looking behind them.

That's when Daryl fell off his bike and fell to the ground.

"Shit..." Taylor groaned as her back hit the forest floor.

She winced as a droplet of blood hit her eye, wiping it away as she wiped the side of her head, seeing a bullet had grazed it.
