-Chapter eighty two; Time for After-

———

TAYLOR

     JORDYN AND TAYLOR WATCHED
as Daryl scoped out the Sanctuary's outer perimeter with a spyglass.

"What do you think he needs us for?" She whispered to Taylor.

      She shrugged, "No fucking idea.".

"Our people are gonna be at the Sanctuary soon, asking for their surrender." Tara spoke up, "We're almost there.".

"That's why we do it. We make it happen." Daryl replied, turning back to them.

Folding her arms, Taylor cocked a brow, "Do what?".

"Drive the garbage truck Right into the Sanctuary. It'll open a hole an' the walkers'll flood inside." He explained.

"So we cover you and Taylor with crossfire from the upper windows, you crash the truck into the walkers and through to the building." Michonne said.

"Yep," Tara nodded, "crack it open, Savior buffet.".

Taylor turned to Jordyn for reassurance, earning a shrug from her before they turned back to the others.

"You know the workers will make it away, up the stairs?" Rosita asked.

That's right, the workers and their families were in there.

"They're on the other side o' the buildin'. They should make it." Daryl replied.

"Yeah, and what if they don't." Taylor spoke up, "We just killed innocent people and their families.".

"Taylor's right," Rosita nodded, "In the off chance, what if they don't make it?".

"Look, after we do this, their only choice is to give up." Daryl said, trying to reason.

"It's risky. They could see the truck comin'." Michonne pointed out.

"There weren't any more weapons at the Saviors' warehouse, right? No more rockets for the RPGs. We work with what we got." Tara argued.

"You got me." Morgan said, walking up, "Other snipers, too. Saviors see you comin', we got you covered, whatever it takes. I want it done. I want them done.".
