A/n:
This chapter introduces the BIGGER THAN A BIG MAC six year time jump in the walking dead. This chapter is going to have things that have plot holes and have not been explained, I know, but that's the style of the rest of season 9. This chapter will introduce plot holes, and they will be explained out through the rest of the season and some in season 10. I hope you all enjoy. ^^💖

-Chapter Summary:-
Six years later after the bridge incident, the communities have moved on. But with the absence of Rick, they are not one, but rather four separate establishments fending for themselves. As Taylor, Alden, Lee, Jordyn travel to Hilltop with their kids Hailey, Autumn, and Abraham Jr. to help them prepare for the trade fair at the Kingdom, Taylor is continually reminded of her past, specifically of the two Dixon brothers. No matter what, she just can't escape her past

-Six Years Later-

TAYLOR

TAYLOR, LEE, JORDYN, AND
Alden had traveled from Alexandria to Hilltop to help with their preparations for the trade fair at the Kingdom.

Of course, the two woman both gave birth to their children.

Taylor and Lee had a baby girl, and though Taylor wasn't on speaking terms with Daryl at the moment, she still decided to name the baby Hailey for him.

On the other hand, Jordyn and Alden had twins, one boy and one girl, and they named them Autumn and Abraham Jr.

After constant begging from the three children to their parents about taking them with them to visit Hilltop, the three adults finally gave in, and brought their children along.

That same evening, they sat at the long dining table eating dinner, and that's when Hailey spoke up, "Mommy. Can you tell me the story of how you met Grandpa Daryl and Merle again?".

Smiling sadly down at her food, Taylor loved how Hailey always was curious to know about her two grandpa's, but it always hurt Taylor to think about them.

She just wanted to forget...start anew with the rest of her family...forget her old Dixon self...

Lee grabbed her hand reassuringly, his thumb tracing circles around their wedding ring on her ring finger.

Finally, after pleading puppy dog eyes from Hailey, Taylor sat down her fork and gave in "Fine. But only because you're too adorable. It was the beginning of all this. Your biological Grandma and Grandpa, my mom and dad, wanted me to be safe from the walkers, so my dad called his two friends to protect me. Your grandpa Daryl and Merle. From that point on, we went on so many adventures together, finding the rest of our family as we built up a new life.".

"And we lived happily ever after." Hailey giggled, clapping her hands cheerfully.

"Mommy," Abraham Jr looked up at Jordyn, "Why doesn't grandpa Daryl come around anymore?".

Taylor's heart immediately sank, and she quickly got up from the picnic bench, "I'm gonna go take a walk. Do you wanna come with me Hailey?".

Haile quickly hopped up from the table, rushing up to her mother and grabbing her hand, "Yes please mommy! Bye daddy! Bye Autumn and Abe. Bye Auntie Jordyn and Uncle Alden!" She waved happily before walking off with her mother around Hilltop for a walk.

"Mommy, did Abe say something to upset Auntie Tay Tay?" Autumn asked.

Jordyn looked down at her, "Of course not, sweetie. Auntie Taylor...well...just gets sad when she thinks about grandpa Daryl is all. She misses him very much.".

And that's how it's been for the past six years.

Every day, Taylor tries to forget Merle and Daryl, but she's constantly reminded of the two Dixon brothers.

No matter what...she really couldn't escape her past...

THAT NIGHT AFTER TAYLOR AND
Lee laid down Hailey for bed in her own room with Autumn and Abraham, the two young adults headed up to their own room for bed.

"Hailey, Autumn, and Abe have me thinking. Do you think Daryl will ever show up?" Lee asked Taylor, "He hasn't seen them since...".

She sighed as her back hit their bed, "Don't know, don't care. As far as I'm concerned, I know no Daryl Dixon.".

"...But you do..." He pointed out, laying down beside her, "After everything the two of you went through, you can't just forget him. Not that easily.".

Tears pricked at her eyes as she burried her face in Lee's neck, "Baby, you saw what he did...he abandoned me...after I saved him...he never loved me...he just used me to make himself feel better about his redneck ass...".

He wrapped his arms around her, "Hey, it's oaky. Let's just go to bed. I know you get sad thinking about it.".

     Nodding, she cuddled up closer to him and wiped the tears from her eyee, "I love you, baby.".

     He placed a kiss on top of her hear, "I love you too, babe.".
