A few months on and Lily and Do Hwan are stronger and closer than ever before, from when they had first met all the way to now he has always been kind, loving, and gentle towards her and it has never once faulted.
In times when she hasn't been feeling great, he is and was always there by her side which she has always been grateful for never asking for anything in return.
As Lily woke up she reached out to find Do Hwan was no longer beside her so she knew he would downstairs making breakfast, moving myself into a sitting position she waited for Do Hwan, but before that, she soon heard the tapping of claws on the floor knowing it to be Poppy their new puppy.
"Hey, Poppy good morning girl."
As Lilly petted her she quickly replied and began licking her face which quickly made her laugh but what she did next couldn't help but confuse Lily. She watched as Poppy began sniffing something before gently nudging and sniffing her stomach.
She couldn't help but wonder and find it very strange at what the puppy was doing.
"What you doing girl, hmm? You've been doing that for a couple of weeks now, there's something you know, isn't there?"
Moments later, Lily began to hear footsteps recognising them instantly to be Do Hwan's. With the door opening before she watched him shuffling to her side of the bed placing the breakfast tray on the bed.
"Hey, sweetheart how are you feeling today?"
Just as she was about to reply she caught the smell of my breakfast that she recognised to be waffles. However, what she found odd was normally every now and then when she had waffles sometimes it didn't affect me but this time for some unknown reason it made her feel sick like she needed to be sick.
Needing to say nothing else, Do Hwan must have seen the look on my face knowing something wasn't right was quick to comfort me.
"Lily? are you, alright sweetheart, what's wrong?"
Taking a deep breath, Lily tried to suppress her ever-rising nausea but it was becoming difficult and before she knew it she started retching.
In a matter of seconds, she felt movement as Do Hwan quickly and carefully gathered her in his arms before rushing to the bathroom, putting her down in front of the toilet just in time.
"It's alright, it's alright darling let it out it's okay I'm here."
Instantly feeling his comforting hand on her back helped things ease a little as she tried to catch her breath. Once she had stopped vomiting she started to feel a little better but Lily wasn't sure why this was happening.
"Lilly sweetheart can I ask you something?"
Moving away from the toilet she grabbed a hold of Do Hwan's hands as he helped her up and flushed the toilet as she took another deep breath trying to calm my her nerves.
"It's... I've felt like this for a couple of weeks now, I don't know what to do."
In a matter of seconds, she could feel it as Do Hwan placed his hands on either side of her face before placing a kiss on her forehead which gave her a lot of comfort.
"Hey, it's okay. It's okay but I think it's best we go and see your doctor to see if she can find out what's going on."
Nodding her head she knew he was right and although she felt a little nervous and reluctant she knew it would be better to be safe than sorry.
Having gotten dressed and ready for the day Do Hwan and Lily were now on their way to the hospital to see her doctor to see if she could find out why and determine the cause of why these last couple of weeks she has been sick.
