A couple of hours later, after Do Hwan left for his interview Lily decided to leave the warmth of the bed and head downstairs to make herself something to eat. She stood in her kitchen Making herself some breakfast when she suddenly felt a huge headache forming.
Sighing and rubbing her forehead she finished making herself breakfast, however, it wasn't the best decision.
Sitting at the table she nibbled on the slices of toast as the headache worsened. Losing her appetite she pushed the plate away, putting the unwanted food in the bin and the plate in the sink Lily immediately searched the cupboard underneath the sink for the medicine container, though only opening it to find she had ran out of headache tablets.
"Great, no medicine left".
Feeling lethargic and tired she decided it best to head back to bed, making herself a cup of tea she took small sips and trudged off to bed.
Once in bed, Lilly tried to get comfortable and decided to watch TV for a while. Putting on Netflix she picked one of her favourite films and pressed play, that was until she heard the sound of the doorbell.
At first, she had thought it was Do Hwan who had come back early from his interview but that was far from what she found.
Opening the door her smile quickly faded when she realised who was standing at the door... Michael.
"Hey, sweetheart nice to see you. You didn't think I'd find you huh? Well, here I am."
Lily could only stare at him in absolute fear as her breathing quickened and she began to shake. She didn't want to believe it but now there he was standing in the doorway with a menacingly cruel smirk on his face.
"No... no no! This isn't true this Isn't real.", she spoke her voice beginning to break as she desperately tried to close the door and keep Michael out but didn't have the strength and was overpowered by him as she fell backwards trying to get away from him.
She watched as he stepped Into the house moving closer towards her, panic continued as she began losing control of her breathing. Frozen In fear, It wasn't long before he began to harm and raise his hand at her.
"Please Micheal, leave me alone... I-"
But as she tried to speak Lily began to feel her breath knocked out of her, she knew he was going for her ribs. Dare not to speak again she curled up In on herself not only to protect herself but also the baby, but what Lily needed right now was Do Hwan desperately, thinking of him.
Seeing a chance to escape from his clutches, Lily kicked him as she could before quickly getting to her feet and running as fast as her legs would carry her up the stairs to find her phone locking herself in the bedroom. Curled up in the corner of the room she didn't know the extent at which she had been hurt but she knew one thing, from the way her ribs hurt so much and was struggling to get her breath some of her ribs must have been broken she hoped though she was In the early weeks of pregnancy that the baby was alright.
"There's no use In hiding from me."
Hearing his voice so close Lily knew he was looking for her, gasping In shock and pain and with shaking hands she soon unlocked her phone and went straight for Do Hwan's contact pressing the call button. She hoped and prayed that he would be able to answer his phone because If he couldn't she wasn't sure what she would do, listening to the dial tone she longed to hear his voice.
Thankfully, she then heard his voice.
"Hi sweetheart, are you okay?"
She tried to speak but instead it came out as a pained groan and muffled sob.
"Jagiya? What's happening, what's wrong?", he asked concern very much in his voice.
"Do- ow, Do Hwan I... I need you... he's here."
Hearing those words Do Hwan's blood ran cold, losing colour in his face.
"I locked myself In the bedroom but he's started knocking on door trying to get In. Do Hwan I'm scared I don't know what to do... he hurt me and I protected myself and the baby as much as I could but everything hurts, I - I think he's broken one or two of my ribs and It's difficult to breathe.", she replied her words strained.
"Oh Jagiya, oh god. I am on my way I promise."
But before he could say anymore there was a thud then only silence.
"Lily?, Lily!? No... no."
