Thirty Two

Pulling back from the kiss Lily stayed in Do Hwan's arms for a little while longer as she tried to catch to her breath, though she knew she still felt unwell and felt like she was going to fall asleep again.

"you okay, Lily?"

"I don't know, I still don't feel too good. I think I'm going to faint again."

With a kiss being placed atop her head she knew then Do Hwan had noticed she had gone quiet.

"What's wrong darling? You've gone quiet."

"I just - I let my thoughts cloud my mind and now I found myself thinking about everything that's happened to me over time."

"Hey, It's okay I know it's been a lot to take in and process but you'll be alright I promise."

Lily knew her heart believed him but her mind kept on telling her otherwise and she couldn't help but feel weak and useless, and with a moment of weakness, she couldn't help but begin to cry as her emotions had gotten the better of her.

"Oh Jagiya, it's alright don't cry. Shh, I'm here come on try and take some deep breaths for me you're okay."

She began trying to take deep breaths but somehow this time it didn't seem to be working, and although she knew Do Hwan was right beside her she soon felt movement and his arms move away from around me and I couldn't help but panic.

"Do Hwan where are you going? Please stay."

"It's alright Lily don't panic I'll be back as soon as can."

With that, she felt his lips on her forehead and she listened as his footsteps disappeared, but thankfully she could soon see him return with Poppy.

Within seconds Do Hwan returned to her side as he placed his arms around her once again and began rubbing her back.

"I'm here darling, I'm here."

Not a moment too soon she began to hear the tapping of claws on the floor followed by Poppy licking her face.

"Hey Poppy, hi girl."

For a few moments she found comfort in both Poppy and Do Hwan but it didn't last long. Once again she began to feel sleepy.

Feeling ready to faint again she lay down resting her head in Do Hwan's lap as he ran his thumb over her forehead keeping her calm and relaxed, though just as Poppy began licking her hand it wasn't long before she had blacked out seconds later before she could respond to her reaction.

When Lily found the strength she had soon come round again and found herself to be still laying in Do Hwan's lap.

"Hey, darling how are you feeling?"

"Tired, but I'm okay. I feel a little better."

"That's good, do you want to go want to go downstairs for a bit I'll make a start on dinner soon."

"Okay."

With that Lily soon managed to get herself in a standing position but as she tried to take a few steps she could help but wobble and lose her balance.

"Are you alright sweetheart?"

"Yeah, it's okay I'm good I just need to get moving and walking that's all."

"Okay, let's get you downstairs then."
