After a few days, Lily was starting to feel more like herself and had gained most of her energy back.
Once again, on a bright and sunny morning, Lily had woken up in the arms of her boyfriend. Watching him a moment a calm and peaceful look resided on his face and Lily couldn't help but smile as soft snores escaped his mouth.
She stayed in the arms of Do Hwan for a few minutes longer before deciding to get out of bed and surprise her boyfriend with breakfast in bed.
She knew since he had moved in with her that Do Hwan had done everything to help her and never left her side, never asking for anything in return. Now, Lily wanted to do something for him and show how thankful she was.
Carefully moving out of Do Hwan's gentle hold on her, she moved herself into a sitting position before swinging her legs over the side and getting out of bed.
Within the space of a few minutes Lily had made it from their bedroom down the hallway and to the kitchen, she quickly settled on making some pancakes and hoped she would be able to cook it in time before Do Hwan would probably wake up. With a smile on her face, she kept a close on the pancakes while she began making herself a smoothie.
Grabbing a tray from one of the lower down cupboards she put two plates on the tray before she turned to finish cooking the pancakes and plating them up.
As she picked up the tray she began walking down the hallway back to their bedroom and hoped that Do Hwan would like the pancakes, before long Lily had re-entered the bedroom just as Do Hwan began to stir.
"Hey, sleepyhead I made breakfast"
Wiping the sleep from his eyes Do Hwan was soon in a sitting position as a smile appeared on his face seeing his girlfriend holding their breakfast in her hands.
"Thank you, sweetheart, I didn't know I was going to get this.", he replied.
Lily was quick to give her lover a smile in return, "I know but I wanted to do something for you.", she said as she placed the tray on the bed.
Moving around to her side of the bed she sat down beside him and began making a start on her smoothie remembering to try and drink it slowly and not too fast, not wanting to make herself feel sick afterwards.
The couple sat in comfortable silence as they ate.
Though the moment they began to eat, the sooner they finished and the more time Do Hwan had one particular question swimming around in his mind.
"Lily?"
"Yeah?"
"Don't get me wrong, I love and appreciate the gesture and it was a great breakfast but you didn't have to.", he said softly putting the now empty plate to one side to then wrap his arms around his lover and holding her close.
Looking up at Do Hwan she pressed a kiss to his lips, "I know and like I said, I wanted to do something for you. I know It's nothing special but since I met you and I moved in with you you've always been there for me done everything in your power to help me and make sure that I was alright, without asking for anything in return so now I did something for you.", she replied sincerely.
Hearing those words, Do Hwan was overcome by a deep sense of emotion only to hold Lily as close as possible and placing a kiss on her forehead, "Thank you Jagiya that means a lot to me."
Needing to say no more words, Lily buried her face into her boyfriend's neck as they both lay down once again.
"How about we stay in bed for the rest of the day and just cuddle."
Liking the idea Lily just smiled, "Yeah, I second to that I love that Idea."
