Law falls on his knees next to Clione and takes the medical bag from Shachi.

Your heart aches as you see the forever happy men in this state, crying in pain.

You step back and sit down a bit farther not to disturb them. Even if they treat you like one of theirs, you don't feel like you are. Not at this moment. You don't want to get in the way.

Bepo sobs hardly, holding his friend's hand as Law takes out a syringe to give him a painkiller, then starts cleaning the wound.

Looking at his face, you see how he suffers as much as his friend, but his hands are precise and confident.

"Who did this to you?" he asks silently, his eyes gleaming with worry and anger.

"Lucci waited for us not far from the ship," whispers Clione, gritting his teeth. He tries to stay still but flinches from the wound. Law stops every time and patiently waits until he calms down.

He's the best doctor you've ever seen.

"I said I would stay because Shiro got worse injuries," cries the pirate, hiding his eyes. "But Lucci left me here and took him. He told me to get you here, so I called you, and I-"

"It's okay. It wasn't your fault," says Law with darkened eyes, completing the last stitch. "Bepo, carry Clione back to the submarine and take care of him. He needs to rest. Tend his other injuries too. If anyone from the Navy appears, dive the ship, don't even think about fighting! Wreny, you go with them. Penguin, Shachi, will go to find Shiro."

"I'm coming too," you stand up, looking at Law whose gaze sharpens as it finds yours.

"You are injured. I'm not taking risks like that."

"I'm strong enough," you shake your head and bite your inner cheek. "It's my fault, Law. Lucci is here because of me, and I can't let them hurt Shiro."

"It doesn't matter how or why it happened! Don't blame yourself, because it will only cause more darkness," snaps the pirate angrily. "You were the one who taught me this, so listen to your own advice. Go back with the others before I chain you down if needed. I can't waste time."

Law.

"You need to trust me!" you shout standing his gaze. "I fought with worse injuries. If I get in the way, I will retreat. I give my word."

Law groans deeply, watching your face. You can't hide your fear for Shiro.

Clione said he has even more serious wounds.

You can't lose him.

"Someone, give her a katana," says the pirate deeply, and you try to smile at him.

But you know he only does it because you don't have time to argue.

"Take mine, [Y/N],"turns Clione to you. "It's not like Captain's, but it's a good blade."

You thank him and tie the weapon to your hip, then you crouch down and lay your hands on the ground. The grass is smooth and long. You run your fingers through it.

Bepo wipes his tears from the white fur and picks up his friend, heading back to the submarine.

"What are you doing?" asks Law nervously, and your heart shakes from hearing the despair in his voice.

"Give me a second," you whisper, and the air pulses around your hand. You close your eyes and search for Shiro's impact in your heart.

And you call it to the surface to find the same colors, the same atmosphere around you.

A pale line of blue light leads away from the place you sit.

"What the hell?!" shouts Penguin scaredly.
