Scene. Courtyard.

Enter ROBYN, out of breath.

ROBYN: It looks like we arrived on time. You know what to do. Just – keep up the journalism gig, we don't want to be seen without a reason here at the courtyard.

ROBYN runs over to SERENA, who is wearing a wig in the likeliness of THE GIRL.

ROBYN: Hey! I have a proposal for you. Hang out with me. You see, I'm running out of time. Whaddya say?

SERENA: You did well. Okay. What side do you think she's head towards when she comes out?

Classroom door opens. Students comes out.

SERENA: I can't see her-!

SERENA moves at another angle. ROBYN pulls out journal. The Girl runs up to the second floor.

ROBYN: Wait, where are you going?! Serena, she's getting away. DO SOMETHING!!

SERENA: No, I don't think that's a good idea...

ROBYN: ALL OR NOTHING!

They climb upstairs. THE GIRL is talking with THE LOVER.

ROBYN: Ahh, damn.

THE GIRL: Hello.

ROBYN: H-hi...

SERENA: Yeah, there you go, make it subtle. You're timid, shy, small, cute, TOTALLY INNOCENT. Act shy.

THE GIRL resumes talking to THE LOVER. ROBYN loiters around.

SERENA: What are you standing there like an idiot?! Quick, retreat, retreat...

ROBYN and SERENA back towards the sides.

SERENA: I- came – all...this way! (Beat). Okay. It's been half a minute. This is getting awkward. If she asks, just tell her you're waiting for a certain Analise to interview. No. Just say, "a friend." She's still not finishing.

After another painful minute, then they both disperse. THE GIRL heads towards to class, towards Robyn's direction.

SERENA: Abandon ship!

ROBYN: Oi...!

THE GIRL neither notices nor responds.

Exit THE GIRL.

ROBYN: No.

ROBYN hides behind stairwell and then reappears as though to process what she has seen.

SERENA: Oh! Nothing but powder puffs and cherry petals floating amidst...

It's like the The Girl came and vanished into a mist...

SERENA mockingly throws some petals into the place where The Girl once stood.

 EXIT ROBYN in a hurry.

Blackout.
