The next morning, Josh stayed the night at Mads apartment. They haven't spoke to each other since Mads snapped at Josh.

Mads: Josh...Josh wake up.

He rolled around in bed so she put her cup of coffee on her nightstand so he wouldn't knock it out of her hand.

Mads: Josh wake up.
Josh: I don't wanna. I'm still tired.
Mads: please.

He turned around and faced her slowly opening his eyes.

Mads: good morning.
Josh: mhm morning.
Mads: you're always saying mhm morning.
Josh: because...

He said closing his eyes again.

Mads: nooo wake up.
Josh: it's like 7 in the morning.
Mads: it's 9 actually.
Josh: even worse.
Mads: how?
Josh: because.
Mads: look I want to apologize.
Josh: huh?

This time he opened his eyes all the way and looked at Mads.

Mads: I want to apologize.
Josh: what for?
Mads: for snapping at you yesterday. I didn't mean to I just couldn't stand you keep asking me if I was ok, or what's wrong.
Josh: I get that, it's just that I don't like seeing you upset, so I have to make sure you're okay.
Mads: thanks and I don't like seeing myself upset also. I really am sorry for snapping at you though.

He grabs her by her waist and she falls on top of him. He wraps his arms around, and whispers in her ear.

Josh: it's okay.
Mads: did you really have to pull me down like this?
Josh: yes. Now we can both go back to sleep.
Mads: no it's 9am Joshua.
Josh: did you just call me Joshua?
Mads: yeah. Is that-
Josh: you don't have to ask. I like it to be honest.
Mads: we really should get up.
Josh: fine. Do you have an extra charger I can borrow?
Mads: yeah it's in one of my drawers; I don't know which one though.
Josh: don't worry, I'll look for it.
Mads: I'll go make breakfast, while you look for it.

He gives her a soft kiss on her lips, then she gets up and goes downstairs. Josh gets up and starts going through the draw's. He goes in the bottom drawer and sees something flip over. He picks it up and flips it over and sees Mads, and Jaden. It's a picture frame, the same one Jaden gave to her for Valentine's Day, but why does she still have it? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

All he can think about is maybe she still loves Jaden. Little does he know she doesn't. She started to fall for him after seeing him care so much about her over the past few weeks. That's all she wanted is for someone to care about her feelings.

He sighs and puts the frame back in the bottom drawer, then went in the top drawer and grabbed the charger and went downstairs.

Mads: hey, I made pancakes, and eggs. I was going make bacon but I only have turkey bacon, and I know you don't eat that.
Josh: I want to ask you something.
Mads: ask away.
Josh: do you still love Jaden?
