Tsubaki's pov
I quickly dodged Diane's punches, sending a few of my own her way. She quickly dodged my attacks, jumping back as I then went after Meliodas. He smirked at me, dodging my attack, and sent one of his own but I quickly dodged it. Anticipating his next move, I quickly kicked at him but he caught my foot and threw me into Diane. The two of us groaned in pain slightly, hitting the ring with a harsh thud. I groaned lightly, getting back on my feet with Diane behind me. "Hey! Watch it, Tsu! Your skull nearly cracked my teeth." She snapped, making me glare at her. "It's not my fault you got in the way." Before we could go after one another, Meliodas jumped in and attacked us. We both dodged his attack, landing beside one another in the ring. "I'm not showing any mercy after all that's gone on today!" Diane stated, going after Meliodas as I dodged the two of them. "Wait, you're just misunderstanding something. I don't remember-" Before Meliodas could finish that sentence, Diane attacked him but he quickly dodged the attack. "I don't want to hear your excuses!!" She shouted as they kept going back and forth, I became angry feeling left out of the fight since neither one of them was paying attention to me. That was one of my biggest pet peeves, and Meliodas knew that very well. I always got angry when I felt left out of things, so he tried to usually include me in a lot of things going on with the Boar Hat. Meliodas and I had found Hawk together after we had been separated from the rest of the sins after Zaratras had been killed.
When I first met the other sins, Meliodas didn't have the Boar Hat. The room I had woken up in, where Merlin and Gowther brought me too when they found me was actually somewhere in the city, near the capital. "HEY!!! Don't leave me out of this fight! I'm in it too!" I snapped, throwing an attack at the two of them. Both Meliodas and Diane immediately dodged my attack, but Diane ignored me and went after Meliodas again. "I actually have to take this seriously, or else-" Diane managed to land a hit on Meliodas, still ignoring that I was there. I growled, my temper flaring as I looked at Diane. "Did you forget that I was here?!" I kicked Diane in the side, catching her off guard. She looked at me with a glare, making me smirk as I got her attention. The two of us started fighting, causing the crowd to go wild as we gave them a good show. But as we were fighting, Meliodas gave me a look and I knew exactly what he was about to do. Since I had lived with him for so long, there were certain cues that I could pick up that nobody else could. For example, there once was a customer who kept hitting on me a few years ago. Since I was 17 at the time, Meliodas had taken it upon himself to make sure that I was okay. When he noticed how uncomfortable felt, he gave me a small smile to tell me that everything was okay. I remembered how hard he had restrained himself from knocking out the customer when he had groped me as I was serving someone else at his table, when Hawk had enough of the guy, Meliodas gladly kicked him out. Meliodas and I had developed our own way of communicating with one another if we weren't talking, which had been established through body language and eye contact. It seemed Diane got the same message I did because all three of us stopped fighting and stood still in the center of the ring.
"This is.."
"What's going on?"
"Is this how it all ends?"
"HEY!!! Don't just stand there!"
"Keep fighting." People in the crowd became restless, shouting at us for stopping the fight so suddenly. I kept my eyes forward, changing my body language to one of an intimidating stature which was something that Ban noticed. I saw Elizabeth look to us in confusion, her eyes meeting mine but I only nodded at her. My eyes then turned away from her, back to Howzer who was looking at us three confused and concerned. I felt guilt creeping up in my heart as I looked at him, I knew that this was going to ruin everything. "My true identity is the Captain of the Eight Deadly Sins," Meliodas started, "The Dragon's Sin of Wrath, Meliodas! We'll be taking over the town Byzel now." He said, "Eh?! What's going on? Why did those idiots reveal their true identity? Right, Elizabeth, what do you think they're planning?" I heard Hawk, he sounded panicked but I knew that this needed to happen. Howzer looked up at me, our eyes meeting again as he looked at me with wide eyes. "I'll give you all one minute to get your asses out of here! Or else, we will kill every last one of you!" Meliodas stated, but it seemed that nobody in the crowd believed him. Of course, they wouldn't. I sweatdropped, realizing just how far-fetched Meliodas really sounded. It was true that he indeed is the Captain of the Eight Deadly sins, but he looks nothing like the posters. Neither do I, so it's hard for people to believe I am Tsubaki, the Wolf sin of Mystery and Chaos, the eighth and final member of the group.
"What the hell are you saying, you brat?!!"
"You don't look anything like the wanted poster!"
"Yeah, but you saw how strong they are.
"Could it be?"
My body language changed as I sensed the arrival of the Holy Knights, who were here to take us down. "They're already here," Meliodas said, as I silently cursed at the stupidity of these people. My eyes landed on Guila, a younger female who had purple hair and big, round brown eyes, alongside another Holy Knight. Meliodas looks at me, giving me a nod and I hopped down from the ring. But before I could move towards Elizabeth and Hawk, I was attacked and thrown back into the ring. I heard my name being shouted, as I bounced up and shook off the pain I felt. "TSU!!!" I heard Meliodas shout, I looked up at what was going on but was met with a fist to my stomach. Spit flew out of my mouth from impact, as I was suddenly thrown farther away from the ring and everyone around me. I had no clue that Howzer and Griamor had just witnessed this, alongside my other members and they looked extremely concerned. I opened my eyes, stopping my body from flying too far but it seemed I was a little late for that. I flipped over, using the momentum, and slid on my hands managing to slow my fast pace down. As I finally came to a screeching halt, I flexed my arm, pushing up with it, and flipped over. I landed safely on my feet, wiping my mouth as I stood straight. When I looked at who had attacked me, I gritted my teeth as I had known this person.
"I should have realized that when we were fighting, you weren't a normal person. Your eyes changed color for a moment and that's when I knew, you weren't normal. I figured you weren't a Holy Knight either, though it strikes me as odd as you know both Howzer and Griamor. Just who are you, Tsu? If that is even your real name." Gigi stated.
"Heh, I thought you would have figured out my true identity since you figured I wasn't normal. But I guess I was wrong. And you don't need to know how I know those two, what you should know is who I am." I chuckled, cracking my neck as I was amused with GiGi. She looked at me with a harsh glare, one that cut through ice. She did not seem amused whatsoever, but I didn't care.
"My name is Tsubaki, but my friends call me Tsu for short. And I'm the Wolf sin of Mystery and Chaos, the eighth Sin." She stood silent, her eyes widening in shock before growling at me.
"For your crime ten years ago of assassinating the Great Holy Knight and attempting to overthrow the kingdom-" I cut her off, with a sharp glare and loud amused chuckle.
"You're stupid if you think that I was ever capable of killing a Grand Holy Knight, especially since I was only 16. My father was a Grand Master Holy Knight himself. How could I do that if I grew up around Holy Knights and the other Grand Masters?" I asked, leaving her speechless. "Now, GiGi. Get out of my way and let me get back to my group before things get serious around here." I ripped off my jacket, throwing it on the floor as my mark became visible. She was really starting to piss me off and that is not a good idea, especially as I am already in a bad mood from them separating us and going after Elizabeth.
"The only thing getting serious around here is me. You are not going anywhere."
"Fine." I huffed, clenching my fists tightly. "Have it your way, although, you just made a big mistake in my book. I'm not letting you keep me from them. You just pissed off the wrong Sin."
