Tsubaki's pov

I sat at the bar, watching Elizabeth and Ban decorate the inside of the Boar Hat with paper bats and other Halloween decorations. Meliodas had sent Diane and King on some sort of trip to a different town to find a specific thing which he wouldn't explain what it was. I found it odd but at the same time I was used to it because he did this all the time when I was younger. "So.." I swiveled around on the bar stool to look at Ban, who was moving some of the tables everywhere to change the layout of the inside of the bar to fit the theme that Elizabeth had set for Halloween. "Are you excited for Halloween?" He asked, "Not as much as I used to be." I shrugged, leaning back on the bar. Elizabeth stopped what she was doing and tuned into the conversation, seemingly surprised by my statement. Ban stopped moving the table he was carrying, he placed it down on the floor and leaned forward on his hands just as surprised as Elizabeth. "Why? Cap'n told me that Halloween was one of your favorite holidays when you were younger, you used to scare the crap out of the Grand Holy Knights for laughs and giggles." He stated, quirking an eyebrow at me. "Yeah, I remember the pranks you used to pull with Gilthunder and Griamore. You always got into so much trouble by your father." Elizabeth said, a smile adorning her face. She seemed fond of that memory, I hadn't thought about that in years. "That was a long time ago, you guys. I'm no longer that little girl who once hid under the covers after my mom blew out the candle at night and left me alone to sleep. I'm no longer that child who ran to my parents room every time I had a scary nightmare, or thought that there was a monster hiding in my closet or underneath my bed." I ranted, "I grew up, I had to.. Especially after moving away from the Capital." I reiterated, "But you're absolutely terrified of Ghosts." He reminded me, "Ugh, Ban. Don't remind me." I whined, he only chuckled at my reaction.

"I'm still confused to why you're so scared of ghosts." Hawk trotted over to me, "Tsu's been afraid of ghosts since she was a small child, that's what Cap'n said. We actually went on a mission once where people were being haunted by a supposed 'ghost'." Ban explained, putting up air quotations.

"Ban, I told you not to speak about that mission!" I turned to face him, a look of anger spreading across my face.

"Oh, come on, Tsu. You still can't be mad about that mission? It wasn't even a real ghost." Ban defended himself, putting his chin on his hand.

"What's so bad about the mission that Tsubaki doesn't want to speak about it?" Elizabeth asked, looking at Ban.

"Well, the ghost that we were looking for wasn't entirely real. Someone made it seem like there was a ghost haunting the place we were in." Ban started.

"Ban, I'm warning you. You keep talking about that damn ghost mission and I'll have your head, you idiot." Elizabeth sweatdropped at my threat as Ban just chuckled, waving his hand dismissively. It was almost as if he didn't believe me.

"Speaking of ghosts," I turned my head to the front door where Meliodas was standing. Behind him was Griamore, Howzer and Gilthunder. "Gil!!" I immediately ran over and launched myself at the three young men, Gilthunder catching me with ease. Howzer and Griamore let out a chuckle as I hugged the three of them, they returned the hug as well. "It's nice to see you too, Tsu." Gilthunder smiled, I swear he gets cuter and cuter each day. "I missed you guys." I smiled, looking to Howzer. He blushed slightly, his eyes meeting mine. I kissed him on the cheek, making him blush deeper as Gilthunder and Griamore started teasing him. "Aw, you two are so cute." Griamor teased, I punched him playfully in the chest making him act like it hurt. He pulled me into a hug, which I returned. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked, pulling back from Griamore.

"Wow, what am I chopped liver? How come they get hugs yet you don't hug me? I'm the Captain here." Meliodas started, making Gilthunder chuckle.

"You don't get hugs from me, Cap, cause you're a pervert." I stuck my tongue out at him, causing him to giggle giddishly. "Way to be childish, Tsu." He teased, "Oh, whatever." I waved at him dismissively, "So... Is anyone going to say why they're here and why you said speaking of ghosts?" Ban asked, "Right," Meliodas nodded, pounding his fist onto the palm of his hand.

"The reason I said that was because we got a request from some villagers who apparently think they're being haunted by a ghost. They requested that we come check it out." A shiver ran down my spine, looking to Meliodas incredulously.

"You've got to be joking, right, Captain?" I asked.

"Nope," He popped the 'p', making me panic more. "There's no way I'm going to a village that is being haunted." I protested, "I'm sorry to tell you, Tsu, but I already accepted the request." Meliodas shrugged.

"You did What?!!"

"Look, it won't be that bad." Ban started, placing a hand on my shoulder. "For all we know there might not even be a ghost." He finished, "And the reason you three are here is because...?" Ban trailed off, looking to the trio.

"They were sent by King Bartra to check it out. So they're coming along with us." Meliodas explained.

"You've got to be kidding me?! Captain, why would you even agree to take on this mission when you know what happened last time?!" I shouted, standing to my feet. "Relax, Tsu. It's not going to be like last time." He tried to reassure me but I didn't believe him one bit, "What happened last time?" Gilthunder asked, "Oh, you know-" Ban started speaking and i immediately launched myself over the bar and tackled Ban, who wasn't expecting me to come sailing over the bar. We hit the floor as I continued to beat Ban with random items I could find back there.

"Okay, Tsu! I won't talk about it!" Ban held his hands up, "Too late! I warned you, didn't I?" The others continued to let me beat Ban until Gil thought he had had enough, "Come on, Tsu. I think he's learned his lesson." Gilthunder grabbed me by the waist and picked me up, as I was still trying to kill Ban. He pulled me away from Ban and walked us around the counter, "Ban, I'll kill you!! You hear me?!! Bring it up again and I swear I'll kill you this time!" The door to the Boar Hat opened turning all attention away from Ban and I, Ban was now standing on his feet leaning on the bar.

"Hey guys, what'd we miss?" Diane asked.

"Great timing," Meliodas smiled, making King and Diane look at each other and then at Meliodas confused.
