Chapter 9: Fearsome Pursuer!!

Tsubaki's pov

"Ban!!" Diane shouted, I let out a small sigh knowing we were going to have a hard time finding him. I wonder where he went. Ban is the type of person who would run off and not tell anybody where he was going. I was getting a strange feeling that Ban must have seen something to make him run off the way he did, I also thought that I saw King follow after him. We decided to follow after the both of them, hoping to figure out where it was that they had run off to. "Man, where'd those two run off to now?" Diane asked, as my eyes swept over the vast area we were in. I bumped into Elizabeth's back abruptly, which made me apologize and look to Meliodas, who was in front of her. "Is everything alright?" She asked, "I don't think we're alone here." He said, making shivers run down my spine because I felt the same way. Someone must have been following us, meaning it must have been another holy knight. "Tsubaki, what about you? Do you feel that way too?" Elizabeth turned her head to me, as I kept my eyes forward. "Yeah." That was all I said, as my eyes swept over the area again.

"I don't see anyone else around here but us," Elizabeth said.

"Yeah, no ghosts have appeared to try and scare us or anything," Hawk said.

"Actually, I'd be terrified if one had," Elizabeth said, it went silent for a moment before both Hawk and Elizabeth panicked. "There's no point in us sticking around here. Why don't we go look for those two now? What do you say?" Hawk asked, "Sounds good to me." I chuckled lightly at Elizabeth and Hawk's antics, those two are so funny sometimes. We continued to walk down that path anyway, but I kept my guard up. Anything could possibly pop out at us, which I was going to be ready for, especially if it was another holy knight. I was annoyed that they were still going after Elizabeth although now, there were five of us deadly sins gathered together. As we were walking I got this feeling that Ban was in trouble somehow, I could not only feel alarm bells ringing in my head but in my heart. Ever since I was reunited with Meliodas back then, my powers grew one day where I ended up becoming somewhat clairvoyant. Merlin was the first one to discover this power within me and she tried her best to help me control it, but it didn't work out so well. "There's no sign of them," Diane said. "Maybe they both got bored and just went back to the real world." I immediately scowled, when I saw a woman standing not too far from us in light pink armor. She had really long black hair, which went down to the middle of her back and it was pushed back by a pink hairband. She was also holding a skinny sword. I put up my guard as soon as I saw her armor, she definitely is a holy knight. I noticed that her eyes were very narrow, which made her eyes seem like they were closed.

"Who's that?" Diane whispered to us, bending down slightly.

"Hello Meliodas, the Dragon sin. How do you do, Diane the Serpent sin? How are you, Tsubaki the Wolf sin? My name is Guila, a Holy Knight." I scowled, clenching my fists as I saw that stupid smile on her face.

"How did you get here?" Hawk asked.

"I got here by dying." She said, that wicked smile still etched on her face which freaked me out. Something in my gut told me that she might have been after us, or more importantly, after Elizabeth. "Did she just say "I got here by dying"?" Hawk asked, "That she did." Meliodas and I said in unison.

"Then that means this lady is bad news, isn't she?"

"Fraid so. Really bad news." Meliodas said. Guila doesn't say another word and instead pulls out her sword, a large and powerful gust of wind blows past us. Throwing Hawk and Elizabeth back, while Diane, Meliodas, and I stood still. "Hawk, take Elizabeth and get as far away from here as possible."

"Will do! Hey, Elizabeth, piggyback." Out of the corner of my eye, Elizabeth hops on Hawk's back and he immediately takes off, saying that a pig can fly. "Try to stay safe, you three!" Elizabeth shouted, as they ran off while Meliodas, Diane, and I got into a fighting stance.
