Chapter 17: Saving Meliodas and Elizabeth!

Tsubaki's pov

When Diane and I said that we would be getting Meliodas back, I knew that we were going to be dealing with a huge fight on our hands. What I didn't expect was the fact that there was now a new face thrown into the battle, it seemed that he had something to do with Meliodas changing and it pissed me off. Luckily, we had found Diane's sacred treasure, her large hammer, Gideon. I was glad to see it, it's been way too long but that only made me miss mine. I still have no clue where Meliodas put it, which only annoyed me. "Oh, so you were alive after all, Serpent's Sin of Envy, Diane! And you... Wolf Sin of Chaos, Tsubaki." The stranger standing a few feet away from us had short green hair, he stood a bit taller than me and had golden armor. But it didn't look like a Holy Knight's suit of armor, nor one that Ruin and that other Knight wore. "Did you really think we were that easy to kill?" I quirked an eyebrow, "I certainly was hoping that you would." He said, making me growl at him. When I looked off to the side, my eyes widened when I saw Meliodas. "Meliodas!!!" When he heard his name called, he looked over my way and his eyes seem to light up. "Tsu, there you are." I rushed over to his side, happy to see that he was alright. I tackled him into a bear hug, despite him being so injured which made him chuckle. "What's with you all of a sudden?" He asked, hugging me back. "I was worried when I felt a sudden change in your energy but I couldn't get to you during my fight and then got thrown further from where you were. Luckily, I ran into Diane." I explained as I let go of him and moved back from him, "Oh, well that explains it. Where did GiGi go? Weren't you fighting her?" He furrowed his brow in confusion, tilting his head to the side but I was interrupted before I could answer.

"I'm sorry for interrupting your touching reunion, but how about we strike a deal?" The guy in the armor suggested, making me quirk an eyebrow at him. Something in my gut was telling me not to trust him, there was something off about him and I wasn't sure what it was.

"You," Diane started. "Was it you?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

"If you hand over Meliodas and Princess Elizabeth, I won't lay a hand on you or your friends." He claimed, making me narrow my eyes at him. "The Helbram Horoscope of the Day: It would be wise not to do anything rash and foolish. You won't be able to defeat my link power with just your measly Gideon." He stated, a smirk etched on his lips. This only ticked me off as I glared at him, he was not going to intimidate anyone with that remark. I stepped in front of Meliodas despite his protests, my hands beginning to glow. "Yeah, that's not happening. If you think that you are going to intimidate us into giving you our Captain and the Princess, you are sorely mistaken." I was not letting anyone take Meliodas or Elizabeth away from me, that was not happening. "Were you the one who did this to Captain?" Diane snapped, she did not look very happy with him. For a moment, it seemed that Helbram was communicating with someone else who wasn't here. He decided to run off but Diane was not about to let him get away, "Mother Catastrophe!" I watched the attack head for Helbram, who seemed to panic a little as some of the others arrived.

"Hey!!" Diane called, I turned my head to where she was looking. My eyes lit up when I spotted Elizabeth, Hawk, Ban and King heading our way. "Ban!!" I ran towards him, launching my body onto his. He caught me with ease, smiling as I hugged him tightly. "Are you alright?" I pulled back from the hug, checking him for any wounds which was dumb because all wounds he usually sustained during fights healed right away. "I'm fine, are you?" He asked, "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks to Diane," I smiled at her, "What do you mean?" Hawk walked up to me, "I found Diane while I was fighting Gigi and some dude made a crater underneath Diane. I could have been seriously hurt had Diane not acted so quickly and caught me." I explained, giving Diane a smile. I heard Elizabeth yelp, turning our attention onto her. "Meliodas, what are you doing?!!" I shouted, Meliodas's face had been buried under Elizabeth's skirt and I could see how embarrassed she looked. I stomped over to the two of them, grabbing Meliodas by the collar of his shirt. I pulled him from under Elizabeth's skirt, shaking him several times, and smacked him on the back of the head. "What is wrong with you, Meliodas?! Stop being a pervert!" He winced slightly, holding the back of his head while Ban just chuckled at my actions. I continued to scold him, not realizing that Howzer and Griamor had appeared.
