I can't stand it anymore. How can I live when she doesn't like me back? I can't possibly imagine being alone without her. Or maybe I'm now living without her.

Ako, I know you'll never read this, and you hope you never do find out about my online diary, but I just wanna tell you that you're the most precious person I've ever met. Today marks 200 days since our first meeting. Thank you for being my inspiration, my happiness and my safe place. You deserve the whole universe.

"Kanata!"

Upon hearing his name being called, the young idol immediately switched off his computer. "What?" He yelled back.

"I have something to ask you!"

Kasumi Asahi, the youngest member of M4 entered the boy's room with his mobile phone in his head. "You see," he began, a big smile on his face, "I really wanna start a diary or journal of my own, but I don't know where and how to start."

The elder male fetched out a notepad, and wrote down the words 'your trusty virtual diary - webdiary.com' on it. He passed it back to a smiling Asahi, who replied, "I never knew you write diaries, mate."

The other male shrugged. "I write whenever I want to, no matter if I'm on a car, waiting for my turn to film, or halfway through a very important meeting. Writing a diary allows me to focus on expressing myself without worrying about other people think. It's really important to me as a public figure, because what I say affects those around me. Enough of this, Asahi. Go back to your room and start writing online." He said, then using his two strong arms, he pushed the blonde back to his room.

I guess Kanata's right. This website is really good!

Asahi thought, while trying to think about what he should write. His first entry was forming quite well so far, with three hundred and fifty-something words.

"Should I write something about Koharu-chan?" He wondered aloud. "Maybe I should." He then muttered after a few seconds of quick thinking.

Do you know Koharu posted something new on her Instagram account? It's a picture of her in a floral-patterned dress, holding a bouquet of flowers - lilies I think. There is also a crown of white roses on her head. She looks super pretty. I really like you, Koharu~

"Ahha! Perfect!"

Asahi held up his work with delight, a huge smile on his face. "My diary entry is finished."

"What diary entry?"

Igarashi Nozomu stood at the entrance to the blondie's bedroom. "N-Nothing!" He then sighed, knowing there was nothing he could hide from the other blonde. "Kanata suggested me to keep an online diary, and I've just finished my first entry! You should try writing one too!"

Nozomu shook his head. "No thanks," he answered. "I'm keeping a hand-written version. You may try to persuade Subaru-kun to keep one too. He surely needs help with his crush on Yume-chan." He chuckled.

"By the way," Asahi stood up. "Do you know what exactly is Kanata writing about in his diary? He doesn't let us look at his entries."

"I don't know," replied Nozomu. "Diaries are meant to be a secret kept from everyone else."

Why is Subaru the reason for her smile?
Ako and Mahiru did a reaction video to Subaru's Chinese song cover in their shared live today. While the latter constantly praised him for his pronunciation and technique, my angel was constantly fawning over his looks. It makes me sad.
Why can't she like me instead? Can't she tell I love her?

"Hey! Open the door, will you?"

Said boy did what he was told. "Yes?"

"Stop typing on your computer and finish your song instead!" Subaru ordered. "We need to hand in our drafts to the headmaster next week, ya know?"

Adjusting his glasses, he sighed. "Fine. Just give me twenty minutes of private time and I'll come down and help you."

As soon as the other male left the room, Kanata slumped back onto his chair, groaning. On his notice board, the fifteen year-old spotted a sketch Koharu Nanakura, now a student of Venus Ark School, had given him. Although being only twelve, she seemed to know what he was thinking, deep inside his mind.

'Daffodils symbolise unrequited love.' She had said, finishing her sketch of the yellow flowers.

Googling up the nearest florists', a soft mumble could be heard inside his room.

"A bouquet of daffodils, please."

"Ahha!"

Piped up Kasumi Asahi, pleased with Kanata's re-appearance — the fifteen year-old had not left his room for five hours straight. "Any ideas?"

The boy looked up, his phone in his hand. He ran his fingers through his tousled hair. "I made one up myself." He replied, smirking at his fellow members when they looked at him in awe, clapping with delight.

"You're the best, man! Group hug!"

The four teens wrapped their arms around each other in a tight embrace. "Thank you so much, Kanata. You're the best at making songs. Without you, I don't think M4 will reach such a level of success." Subaru said.

However, Kanata did not like Subaru's words. Get off me, he thought. You're my rival. My rival for love. For Ako, and her love.

"Chill, guys. Do you wanna hear my demo? It's a ballad about love. Unrequited love." Kanata explained.

"Wow." Asahi squealed. "Where did you get inspiration for this song?" He asked.

"I don't know. The beats were made two weeks ago, and as for the lyrics... I have no idea. It just came to me." Replied the elder male.  Of course, it was a lie. The song reeked of his own personal experience, and it was what Nozomu noticed.

"Really?" Nozomu questioned.  "The song's just too relatable. It's impossible for you to suddenly just, you know. According to my analysis, you must've at least thought of the lyrics and formed a clear structure in the lyrics."

"What? Is that true?"

Kanata ignored them. "Whatever you say, pal." He closed his eyes. "I'm gonna find the headmaster and ask him for his opinion. You guys can come too, if you want to."

"Sure!"
