"Wait... K-Kanata?! What are you doing here in a call with us?!" Asked Subaru, shocked by their friend's appearance in their meeting. However, the member did not reply, and just waved and gave them a smile, signalling that it was not a reunion, but a meeting between the Headmaster and the four members of Japan's most famous boy group -- M4, probably to discuss about their upcoming schedules when Kanata returned to Four Star Academy after his one month long hiatus.

The Headmaster did not give them any time to spare. "I have called you here," he cleared his throat and began, in a serious manner, "to inform you about this." He then showed the four of them an article found on an entertainment magazine. He paused for a second or two, before reading the content in said article, in a loud and clear voice.

M4, without doubt, is the most successful Japanese male idol group of this generation. Hailing from talent school Four Star Academy, the four members, Yūki Subaru, Igarashi Nozomu, Kira Kanata and Kasumi Asahi, are not only incredibly talented, but also extremely humble, easygoing and polite, according to lucky juniors at Four Star that had had the opportunity to train with them before as their mentee. Thousands of young girls apply for Four Star Academy each year just to catch a glimpse of them. But is that necessary?

According to a student of Four Star Academy, three of the four M4 members are currently dating their fellow Four Star Academy schoolmates. Vigilant students had spotted S4 member Kasumi Mahiru, M4 member Asahi's sister and a renowned singer, actress, model and fashion designer in her own right, often spending her time with Nozomu in the school campus, studying and eating together rather intimately. They had also spent their so-called 'off-days' together, shopping in large malls for clothes and skincare products, he said. It is most likely Nozomu and Mahiru met through Asahi, and had just started dating a month ago.

"This is trash for sure!" Yelled Nozomu when he saw his name on the article. "We were just practicing for our next drama together! I don't even like her-- I mean, Asahi--"

The Headmaster silenced the blonde. "No worries. Four Star will issue a statement about your case. Let's continue reading."

KanAko fans might squeal when hearing the following good news! Kanata, whom had just announced his one-month hiatus from M4 to rest in the US, is rumoured to have a temporarily long-distance relationship with S4's Saotome Ako, one of Japan's rising actresses. A few months ago, he started posting Instagram stories tagging the young female star. One of his juniors had remembered him mentioning his ideal girlfriend during lunch with some other students. Many of 'her' characteristics match with Saotome's. The two were also spotted to wear matching clothes, accessories and bags, and Ako was often seen with Kanata outside of the Academy, possibly having a date of their very own.

"Well, Kira. This sounds extremely  suspicious, to be honest. Is that true?" Asked the Headmaster. "Remember to be honest. I do allow student dating, and you can publicise your relationship if you want to."

The other members tried their hardest not to chuckle. "Why are you laughing? Is there something you know that I don't?"

Subaru spoke up. "Those reporters have the wildest imagination! I bet Kanata-kun still doesn't have the guts to confess yet!"

"Wait..." The Headmaster opened his eyes in disbelief. "Then--"

"She's not my girlfriend. Yet. She's oblivious, so I guess it's still unrequited love for now. I'll be sure to tell you when we decide to make it public."  

"Then I hope to hear more good news from you in the near future, Kira." Answered the Headmaster, and continued to read the article.

Member Asahi is also rumoured to be in a relationship. Little is known about his girlfriend, but according to a fellow Four Star student, she is not a studying in Four Star Academy. However, what we can know about her is that she is a massive fan of K-pop group TWICE, as he once bought multiple albums of their 2017 release, TWICETAGRAM.

The Headmaster looked at Asahi, sighing. "I don't get why you teenagers are obsessed with Korean culture so much! Does your sister have those albums, Kasumi?" Asahi nodded.

"Ahha! We'll clarify Kasumi and Igarashi's rumours, then!" Concluded the Headmaster, very pleased of his decision. "We'll announce the making of the new drama earlier than planned, and we'll say that Kasumi bought all those albums for his whatever-obsessed sister!"

"She actually is obsessed." Asahi whispered, and the other members roared in laughter.

Not getting why the teenagers acted that way, the Headmaster stood up. "I'll leave now. You three can continue chatting with Kira, only if he's free to do so."

The four of them got up and bowed. "Thank you so much!" They chorused, before sitting down once more, this time, having wide smiles instead of worried expressions.

"Oh my god Kanata it has been ages! We missed you a lot!" Said Asahi in a loud voice. "How have you been?" Asked Subaru. "Why haven't you replied to our messages?" Added Nozomu, 

The brunette raised his hand, giving them a silent command : 'stop it'. "I'll answer you guys bit by bit. First thing, I miss you guys too. It has been tough for the last two weeks or so. My parents keep sending me to different universities, so that I'll find one that suits me best, and you know, let me attend that university. They've taken my phone and my tablet away from me to prevent me from communicating to my fans or you guys. Considering the fact that I'll be sent back here again a year or two later, it's gonna be hard for us to continue our career now." He answered sadly.

Asahi sighed. "Not only us, but the girls miss you and want you back soon. S4 is working really hard for their comeback to keep Four Star in check while you're away, but it's very obvious that Ako-chan isn't in the mood for one, poor thing." 

Kanata's eyes lit up when Ako's name was mentioned. "What?" He furrowed his brows. "Can you repeat what you've just said?" 

Subaru was the one to answer instead. "Ako-chan has been feeling down these days, and we think you are the reason behind it. The poor girls have been pressured by the Headmaster ever since you left Japan as S4 was the only  major income they have left, now that we have solo activities. They've been rehearsing non-stop, and I heard from Laura-chan, that they're filming loads of group content as well."

Nozomu agreed and nodded his head. "You better film vlogs or sexier dance covers. It's the only way to help them." Asahi frowned. "It hurts to see my precious little sister like this, being over-worked by the Headmaster! He only wants money, right? I'm sure KiraHoldings will provide tons! Sign a partnership between--"

"My parents are still against me being in the entertainment industry. There's no way they'll approve." Sighed Kanata. "As for Nozomu-kun's 'plea', I've taken Ako's request -- EXO's 'The Eve'. I'm sure that'll be sexy enough. I'll film by the end of this week. Let's wish my parents don't take away my camera and laptop!"

"Ooh la la!" Cooed Asahi. "Our OTP, is sailing, mwah!"

"Oh, shut up." Snapped the elder, greatly embarrassed. "Others may hear your conversation."

Subaru nodded. "That makes sense. Be quiet or else the Headmaster's help won't repress your relationship with Koharu-chan being exposed. By then, I bet even Mahiru-chan can't even do anything to fix the situation." He said, logically.

"Let's forget about the bad times!" Announced Nozomu. "Cherish this moment and let's have a proper conversation before Kanata's parents take his phone away from them, shall we?"
