Chapter 2

Where am I? The last thing I remember is a pair of headlights in my face. Its all dark now though. Am I dead? I'm sure I can hear a voice in the distance. I try to hear what's being said but it's all a jumble of nonsense to me. I don't feel any pain either. That's confusing. I'm sure I felt pain earlier. Oh well. I won't worry about that right now. No pain is good right?
Ah, I definitely hear someone now. It's not a voice I recognise but it feels soothing. It's a calm, soothing voice. I like it. I still can't understand what's being said but I could listen to that voice all day. It makes me feel calm. I already said that. My head isn't working right. Actually, nothing seems to be working right but that voice makes it all ok. If I just lie here and listen I'll be ok.
