Three months had passed since the recently tragic events of Willy's Wonderland in Hayesville and the Paw Patrol were back in Adventure Bay safe and sound. They were happy to be back home and were glad to be rid of the traumatic horror that was called 'Hayesville'. There were several obvious reasons why Ryder decided to choose to go back to their hometown. The main reason was that after what he and the pups had experienced, he had an idea of where his old friend was and had no thoughts of going back for a visit. And it was better that he did. Rocky and the other pups had looked up the town together on the web and found out that Tex and Jed also went missing themselves. Rumor had it that one of the animatronic mascots weren't entirely dead and found their way out into the parking lot and the two men were found dead with their bodies badly burnt in a car that had been blown up. They all assumed that the scene had to take place where the team had just left the county with Liv for good. Will the emotional scars that Ryder and the pups had to face ever heal? Only time will tell. Liv, however, was the most traumatized in the group. She not only did she see her friends get eaten, but her parents too. But she knew that all of her past was behind her and she had to move forward. Living in Adventure Bay so far was nice. It was much more peaceful than it was back in Hayesville. She didn't have to sleep in a trailer or a jail cell. Mayor Goodway had bought her a house a few minutes away from town. Her neighbors were much nicer than the ones she had to deal with back where she grew up. She also didn't have to worry about any intentions of the town building a fun place with singing and dancing animatronic mascots built for hosting children's birthday parties. Liv was sitting on her sofa embracing the new environment she was living in while holding a mug of coffee. A house that had a reassuring look to it, new clean clothes that weren't ripped or shabby, and a bathroom that had an actual working toilet.

"This is so much better than living in that trailer with that former idiotic adoptive mother of mine." She said to herself as she took a sip of her coffee.

On her left was a coffee table with a picture frame of a photo of her and the Paw Patrol on it. She glanced at the picture and grabbed it.

"If it wasn't for these guys, I'd be dead right now." She said to herself as she kept glancing at the picture with a smile before putting the picture frame down and taking another sip of her coffee.

Back at the lookout, the team was trying to distinguish themselves from what happened in the last three months and successfully recovered. Ryder had plans to have Liv come over and hang out while the pups were playing hide and seek. Rocky was the only one who kept up to date with the recent news of Hayesville. Besides the current news about Tex and Jed going missing, there was another news article on the web about Willy's Wonderland burning down the day after and the person who burned it down took the picture and uploaded it. The person who uploaded the photo was unknown and possibly someone who was passing by. Did the person relocate the damaged animatronics that was near the building? Probably not due to the possibility of the animatronics catching fire in the process of burning down. Marshall, Zuma, and Rubble were wishing that they didn't have to go through another trial like that again. And Chase and Skye? After a month of contemplating deciding which his answer was a yes or no, Chase finally made his decision and took Skye out on a date. Ryder, however, made sure to never go near Hayesville again, it didn't matter if it did have a place like Willy's or not. He didn't want to hear the name 'Willy' again after that trip. He was on the balcony looking down at his pups playing while talking to himself.

"That night's never gonna fade away anytime soon. A trial like that is no doubt going to make me not sleep again. Still I can't believe we made it out alive. Don't know about those two other guys. They're probably dead if I know how the story goes."

After a few minutes had passed, he made a decision and called Liv. Liv picked up and greeted him with a happy expression. He asked her if she would like to come over and visit them. She happily accepted the offer and planned to see them later that day. Ryder ended the call happily but quickly went back to his exhausted state. Liv came by and the pups were glad to see her again.
