Kill My Time- 5SOS

Calum Hood:

I spent most of the day pacing around my place, cleaning up the things that were already spotless, and doing my dishes. Honestly, I was just trying to waste the day away since I had just hung out with the guys and didn't have much else to do.

Currently, I was laying on the couch, staring at the ceiling, contemplating what boring thing I could do next to counteract the boredness I already felt.

Things went well with Aviana the other night. At least I think so, and I've got nothing else better to do than overanalyze it. I mean, she was pretty quiet on the way home, but it was late. She didn't resist me though, is that a good sign?

Maybe I'll shoot her a text about doing something tonight. I had worked up a bit more confidence after we sort of fixed things a few days ago.

Aviana

are you busy tonight?

I'm bored...

I'm not doing anything

What do you wanna do?

I found a little bar that

looks fun? Do you want

to go?

sure

It was simple enough, but it worked, and I was heading over to pick her up at nine.

When I swung into the lot outside her apartment, I realized that I guess I missed the dress code. Here I am in my black jeans and a plain band tee, and she walks out in a short sparkly dress, in a deep shade of violet. It looks so good on her and works well with the underlayer of blue peeking through her curled hair.

She opens the door and lets herself into the car.

"Wow, Av," is all I have the ability to say.

"Hey, you said we were going out to a bar, and there better be dancing,"

"Why so you can show me up? I'm the singer, not the dancer," I fought back.

"Exactly that reason," she pushes with a mischievous grin on her perfect face. I should've expected that one, you win, Av.

After a beat, she speaks again, "I want aux, Cal," and switches off the radio I had playing in the background.

"Tonight is gonna be fun, and I'm getting us ready,"

I desperately needed a night out, away from the problems that directly related to her and her alone, but I guess if she's with me, I can't worry where she might be instead.

For once, we're both smiling in the same space together, her screaming the lyrics to 'Teenage Dream' and I, just simply laughing at her having the time of her life in the condensed area of my vehicle.

"You're insane, you know that?"

"Am I making you mad, yet? Are you irritated by my music choices and out-of-tune singing?" she responds, the same smirk on her face from moments ago.

"Oh, the songs fine, great choice, Av"

We arrive at the LA bar, it's not too far from home, and its bright lights greet us as I enter with the party I brought along.

"There's a dance floor!" she shouts over the bass pumping, "You're not ready for these moves tonight,"

Av is demonstrating her embarrassing club moves, and I just shake my head as I start making my way towards the drinks. I'm gonna need something if she dances like that here, that's not the professional I know.

"Do you wanna take shots with me?" she asks, reappearing by me.

"Okay, Aviana," I respond, giving in to please her.

Two shots each, I quickly try to choke them down, feeling the burning feeling in my throat.

"You're such a wimp about it, oh my gosh, Cal," Av nudges me playfully, and calls for another to show me up.

"I prefer other drinks, not straight-up vodka,"

I'm letting you win tonight, Av. Things are going well, I'm not gonna push it too much. But man, I'm gonna get wasted.

I get a beer, and head to supervise Av on the dancefloor. She's got a drink in her hand as well, and it won't be long until she's moderately drunk.

"You have to dance too," she orders, pulling me into her chaos.

"I really don't want to, shots haven't hit me yet," I argue with a shrug, giving her a smug look.

"Maybe I should've gotten you a third too! Loosen up, Cal!" her free hand is on my arm trying to force me out of my stiffness.

"You're all closed off and serious all the time, have some fun for once,"

I sigh, and give in, with a large sip of the alcoholic beverage in my grasp.

"You're not even giving me a chance to warm up,"

"No one cares anyway," she replies, dancing and stumbling among the others. What a lightweight, a few shots and one drink, and she's wasted already?

I'll keep an eye on her though, and I mirror her dance moves with equally humiliating ones of my own.

"I'm really glad you're having fun," I yell over the unknown rap playing. I was getting tired and after a few mixed drinks, I was nowhere near sober. She wasn't either, but not once had her energy dropped.

I shift over around her to block a strange man from advancing, and then she repositions to face me.

"I'm having the best time of my life," she replies innocently, "this was such a great idea, Cal"

"Well, I'm really glad,"

She takes my hands and forces my exhausted self to keep dancing with her. Next thing I know, my arms are around her neck, and she's smiling as we find ourselves near the back wall of the bar.

I'm practically shoved into the barrier, or maybe she was just forceful, but then her lips are on mine and I don't resist. It only gets more intense as she pushes into me, and my tongue slips in to search her mouth. She's good, and lightly bites my lip, pulling me back towards her. I take a breath and continue, kissing down her neck a few times. I won't leave any marks though, I'm not like that.

It's absolutely incredible, and it sucks. She won't remember any of this tomorrow.
