Loki stood above his father's grave for the first time since he died, staring down at the gray stone that had Mico King engraved on it. Loki thought he'd feel more angry at the visit but all he felt was a somber peace. "Hey pops." He whispers, the wind blowing harshly against his skin.Loki's throat tightens at the silence he receives, "I came here to apologize to you..." He forces out a small laugh, "I've spent all these years hating you when I've made all the same mistakes you've made." He throws his hoodie over his head, "I didn't realize how hard it was for you until it happened to me and I'm sorry we didn't try harder to help you." Tears stream down Loki's face as he relives the memories of his father fighting for his life in his bedroom. "I'm sorry because despite everything, you still were a great fucking father and I never gave you credit for it."
Loki blows out a huge breath of air, "I understand why you chose drugs over me but I could never understand how you chose them over Lucas and LeRoy or even Lucio." He chokes on a sob, "I think that's the part I will always hate because they're great fucking people and I couldn't see a life without them." Loki shakes his head, "But even though that part of me hates you, the other part loves you for giving them to me so thank you. Thank you for giving me a family that loves me."
Loki's eyes shut before he squats down and leaves a white rose in front of the stone, "And thanks for accepting me when you found out I was yours. You didn't second guess me or ask for a DNA test, you took me in the second you saw me and I'm forever grateful so thank you."
Loki finally stands up, "I forgive you." He whispers before finally walking off. He didn't bother looking back because he knew he'd be here again.

Author's Note:
ITS OVER OMG! Can you believe it? WHO EXCITED FOR ASTRAEA AND LUCAS?
This last chapter made me a little emotional, I won't lie. Not because it's over but because he finally forgave his father and himself. Forgiving someone who hurt you is probably the hardest thing you can do because how is that possible when you've spent your entire life hating them? It's hard trust me but in the end its worth it.
Loki's learning to mature and I think forgiveness is a huge step.
ANYWAYS I'LL SEE YOU IN THE NEXT BOOK! I LOVE YOU!
