Emily's pov:
I had driven JJ back to my apartment and we were sitting on the couch watching a movie. She was smiling and laughing but it seemed so hollow.

It was like it was all fake. "I'm going to the bathroom." She excused herself getting off the couch. I paused the movie and waited for her.

After about 10 minutes I started to get worried so I went to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "JJ are you okay?" I asked her.

She didn't respond. I knocked again but still no answer. I decided to just use the key and open the door.

When I saw JJ she was throwing up into the toilet and just sobbing uncontrollably. "JJ what happened?" I asked her frantically.

"Emily get out!" She screamed at me. "I'm not doing that." I responded. "Go away!" She shouted. "JJ I'm not leaving. Tell me what happened."

JJ threw up again. "Do I need to take you to the hospital or something?" I worried. "No just leave me alone!" She screamed again.

We locked in a screaming match for almost an 1 and a half. JJ kept throwing up and eventually I decided that I had to take her to the hospital.

I practically begged her to go willingly but I ended up having to force her even though I knew she'd hate me for it. JJ screamed the whole way there telling me to just take her home.

When we got to the hospital she got admitted immediately. She was a bit calmer but still crying.

She was laying in a hospital bed and the doctors were about to sedate her through the iv. She grabbed my arm. "If you love me you won't do this. Please." She begged.

"JJ don't you want something to make you feel better? You've been violently ill for almost 2 hours." I stroked her hair back.

"I only want you." She sobbed. I laid down in the bed next to her and she cuddled up against me. She held on to me tightly. "I'm going to be here the whole time I promise you." I leaned down and kissed her forehead.

The doctors looked at me and I nodded for them to do it. They pushed the medicine into the iv and JJ's eyes fluttered shut.

JJ laid perfectly still on my chest. Just her stomach evenly rising and falling. I felt her tears still on my shirt and her arms still gripped my waist.

I was going to keep my promise. I wasn't leaving her. I held her there as she slept for almost 3 full hours.

Then after a pretty long time I felt her slowly stir. She looked up at me opening her eyes and squinting at the bright hospital lights.

I wasn't sure if she'd still be mad at me for taking her to the hospital. "What happened?" She asked groggily.

"JJ I took you to the hospital because you were sick. Do you not remember?" I asked. She shook her head. "I remember." She said softly. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?" I asked confused. "I was mean to you." She said her eyes brimming with tears. "I'm sorry."

"JJ stop saying sorry. I'm not mad at you I was just worried about you." I told her. She nodded. "Can I go home now?" She asked me.

"Soon. They're doing a psych evaluation before you leave." I said softly. "That's crazy. I don't need a psych evaluation." She scoffed. "Is it crazy? Really?"

She looked upset. "It's going to go on my permanent record and I won't be able to go back to work."

"JJ you know that's not true. Just answer the questions and then we can go home." I said.

"Will you be here with me?" She asked. "Sweetie I can't be in here with you I'm not allowed to." I sighed. "I'll come back as soon as you're done." I leaned down and kissed her gently. "I love you."

The psychiatrist went into the room and I waited outside. They were in there for almost and hour until she finally called me back inside.

The doctor talked to me more than to JJ. "So she's not a suicide risk." She said. I was actually relieved. "So can she come home now?"

"Yes, but there's something else. I believe Jennifer has something called BPD, or borderline personality disorder. I would like to prescribe some medication I think would help. Maybe recommend a good therapist." She said.

"I don't want the medicine." JJ said. The doctor looked surprised. "Are you sure? I think it would be helpful for situations like tonight." She said.

"Why don't you just prescribe it?" I said. JJ reluctantly nodded. The doctor scribbled something on a prescription pad and handed it to JJ.

JJ didn't even look at it and handed it straight to me. I glanced at quickly and stuck it in my pocket. "I'll email you with further details but you are free to go." She said walking out.

JJ looked drained. "Cmon let's go home baby." I took her hand and went to the car. We drove home in silence. I went to my house because I didn't want to leave her home alone.

I pulled into the driveway and helped JJ out of the car and we went inside. We went upstairs and she went straight into bed and laid down.

I laid down next to her. "If you don't want to have to go back to the hospital we need to make a deal." I said. "Okay." She nodded.

"You have to stop acting like everything is fine when it's not. You were struggling way before the abduction but you didn't say anything. When something happens I need you to tell me. No matter what you tell me."

JJ nodded. "Can you do that?" I asked. "Yes." She said softly. She was crying now. Only slightly. "I love you my sweet girl." I whispered.

I kissed the tip of her nose. She settled in my arms and relaxed a bit. We watched a movie laying in bed and we both fell asleep before it was even halfway done.
