I don't think sorry is gonna cut it, lmao.

Also, an important announcement from yours truly so don't skip unless you wanna miss out on an opportunity~

As you all probably are aware, I do write smut. However, for this book, I was not planning to include any sex scenes—unless...you, my readers, would like them!

It is a long ways off, so don't expect to see them anytime soon, but you may lay down requests right here for smut scenes if you would like to see them! If you don't, that's fine with me, but don't pout if you did but didn't send a request my way. View the rules below.

RULES
-give me a specific place (room, car, public, etc.)
-give me a specific tone (lovey, nasty, angry, etc)
-you can add anything else you want, but it's my right to tweak your request if it contains anything that makes me uncomfortable.

Sorry for the long announcement—proceed.

Aria's POV

I'm getting more comfortable inside this hotel.

These people...a nice place to stay.

It almost feels like home...just, without the...home part.

Maybe I can make a new home here?

It's beginning to feel like that.

My skin is starting to gain a bit of its color back, and my body doesn't hurt as much as it used to.

A small smile was on my lips as I walked into the lobby. Immediately I spotted Husk behind the bar, and his eyes shifted over to me lazily.

I lifted my hand and gave him a small wave, and in return he lifted two fingers from the bottle he was currently drinking out of.

Continuing my path through the lobby, I was walking towards the library to see if I could find some more books. I finished the three I grabbed, already...

I used to love reading back home.

But reading by myself felt...weird...strange.

Wrong.

Pushing the door open, I walked into the library humming softly to myself. It was absolutely no surprise when Alastor was seated on the couch, a book floating in front of him.

My humming died down, and I walked past him, towards the sci-fi section. As I passed him I nudged his foot playfully, gaining his attention.

His eyes shifted up to mine, and I kept walking, scrunching my nose at him slightly before giggling softly.

Out of everyone in this hotel, for some reason he's the one I feel...drawn to. You know how sometimes there's just that one person who you feel closest to in a group? For me, that's him.

I don't know why...we don't even interact regularly. Whenever I see him, though, it's as if I'm seeing an old friend. I feel comfortable around him.

I noticed the corners of his relaxed grin quirk up slightly before he took in a deep breath and shook his head slightly, looking back to his book.

Making my way towards my books, I clicked my tongue quietly as I searched the spines. I grabbed the most interesting one, and looked it over, reading the back.

Satisfied, I turned and began walking back, ready to leave the library and head back up to my room to read.

However, as I walked back past Alastor, I hesitated. My brows furrowed and a few more steps took me a couple more feet forward before I stopped completely, just barely past him.
