Some Alastor sketches. I love drawing him, I need to do it more often.

Aria's POV

I sat at the kitchen table, nibbling on a piece of toast.

Early this morning, Alastor told me he needed to hunt before anything else. So, he's gone.

I blew a sigh up into my hair, looking around.

There has gotta be something in this behemoth mansion for me to occupy myself with while he's away.

With that in mind, I stood up and threw my trash away, heading out towards the main area of our floor.

Being in such a big house all alone isn't as fun as having Alastor here with me...but when he hunts he's gone for at least 3 hours.

Plus, he said he needed to hunt and "memorize the layout of the forest."

I would ask to go with him, but...

Y'know.

Anyway, I walked back to our bedroom, which was ridiculously big. The bed was circular and had satin sheets, along with a plush, squishy comforter.

The accents of the room were very warm toned. I prefer cool tones, but Alastor prefers deep warm tones, so I guess we met at a good middle ground with the neutral browns.

In the bedroom also was a separate bathroom the size of a living room, twelve foot bookshelves, and a jacuzzi.

Yes.

An entire jacuzzi.

I guess when you're literally the king and queen of hell you can do whatever the hell you want.

I walked over to the large window that looked out into the forest this house is secluded in.

Now why does this seem familiar.

The red hue of the sky made it look overcast. There were leaves on the ground, long fallen from barren trees.

I was debating with myself whether I should stay in or go out. Alastor said that the enchantment is effective for a mile around the perimeter of the house, but...I don't know, without him I just don't feel as safe.

Then I shook that thought away. I will not let this purple jackass dig his hooks into me like that.

I will enjoy myself.

I will not let him have the satisfaction of plaguing me even when there is no way for him to even touch me.

With that thought in mind, I snatched a jacket, pulling it on as I made my way through this maze of a house to find the front doors.

As soon as I made it out, I took a deep breath in and closed my eyes.

Out here in this part of hell, the seasons behave normally, and the air is clean and crisp. In pentagram city, you damn near need a gas mask just to leave the house.

This is nice.

I'll take a walk while Alastor peruses. He'll probably know I'm in the forest the moment I step foot in it, so I won't need to worry either way about something hurting me.

The leaves crunched under my feet with each step I took. The weather was warm, but there was a chilly breeze that came with the beginning of spring before it really starts to get warm.

I took this moment to observe my surroundings and really take in the area. The trees were tall, stretching far above my head.

In them I could see little animals milling about, some of them watching me curiously.
