Alastor's POV
I was sitting in the library, my eyebrows furrowed as I read and reread the paragraphs in this spell book.
Ancient Latin is not my strongest language...however I can read it enough to know it contains something that may be of use to me.
A spell that restores memory...returning you to how you were before the loss occurred. There are some parts of the spell that are choppy to me, but if this works...
All I need is two other people to even out the energy, and a drop of her blood...
Suddenly the door to the library opened loudly, and I jumped, losing my concentration. I growled and looked over at Angel, narrowing my eyes.
"This is a library, spider, you're supposed to be quiet." I growled and he smirked at me, sauntering over to the...adult...section.
Why does Charlie even have that in here...?
Anyway, my annoyance peaked and I shook my head, looking back to my book.
"And by the way, it wasn't very polite of you the other day just leaving Aria and I alone like that," I pointed out his lack of manners, and he scoffed, causing me to look up.
He was looking at me with a raised eyebrow, and a cheeky smile, "uh, you're welcome?" He said, popping a hand on his hip.
Then it clicked.
He left us alone on purpose...
My eye twitched and I pinched the bridge of my nose, "Angel, do not interfere with my love life, or hers...just let it happen naturally," I growled quietly at him, and he rolled his eyes.
He crossed his arms, walking over to where I was sitting and plopping down next to me.
"Would you lighten up, smiles?" He huffed, "if I let it happen at your pace, ya gonna hav'ta wait anotha hundred years t' fuck er', is that what you want?" He asked me, as if my only goal was to get her into bed.
"If I have to, yes, it doesn't effect me one way or the other in that aspect," I grumbled, flipping the page of my book and focusing on the next paragraph.
Angel sat silently, and I tried to ignore him, but then he started to get bored.
He crossed his arms and sighed heavily.
I ignored him.
He sighed again, and I glared at him, but did nothing more.
"I'm bored!" He let out finally, drawing out the word dramatically. I sighed, closing my eyes and counting to three.
"Go bother Husk, Angel, I'm not in the mood," I said calmly, and he blew a raspberry from his lips.
"Ya neva in tha mood...plus Husky is passed out, ain't no fun ova thatta way eitha," he grumbled.
