Chapter 17: Firelights leader

After mine and Caitlyns arguement? I have no idea honestly maybe it was just a disagreement about what had happened we really need to talk about it

I was dragged off before being sat down in some room against.. wood? I was unsure of what it had been before but this definitely felt like wood

The hood that had been covering any sight and muffled any hearing I had as well as half suffocating me, was removed and I could see the fire light leader decked out with mask, jacket, tools and a box I've never seen before in my life

Me; you shy?.. or just ugly?

He stood up after the guard that removed my hood left and got closer to me, this caused me to stand my ground despite being tied and bound to the thing behind me

Before the man before me began to discard his hood showing off his white hair, no way is that.. he discarded the mask showing a teen about 17/18 years of age a bit of tan and a white mark on the middle of his face

???: you look pretty good for a dead girl

This has shocked me, he became the leader of the fire lights? Or was it someone else and he's just important did those lessons pay off?

Me: Ekko?

He spared no business clearly going for pleasantries last rather than first nice to know some lesson stuck harder than others do

Ekko: what do you know about this?

He pulled out a canister and opening it showing the blue gemstone, which I'm being asked so much about right now ugh what is it tho

Me: nothing what the hell is this all about?

He continued with the questions ignoring my ones so I went to untie my bounds, the guards could never so let's see about this 17 year old

Ekko: what were you doing with jinx

Now this irritated me, surely he knew that her name is powder, being one of the closest to her

Me: her name is powder

I continued on from there scolding him as much as I could from the bind I was in currently, I could've thrown a punch or two

Me: and I just found her before you and your goons showed up

Scoffing hating this and wanting to get out of the bounded rope and chains I was in I decided to make sure he knew who I was just in case

Me: it's me, Vi

I pushed forward against the chains and rope holding me down to the ground as close as possible as Ekko held a amused and listening face it seemed

Me: the same person who used to take you down to the junk heap and hose you down when you got covered on grease

Now as I sat back against the wall I'm held against he held a more nostalgic face less regret than I thought he'd hold but oh well I suppose

Ekko: that was a long time ago, people change

No shit Sherlock I'm sitting here bound while you interrogate me about stuff I barely even know about you absolute dim witted fuck

Me: yea I'm getting that

His face changed almost as quickly as it was there, he really did have to grow up didnt he.. I'm sorry Ekko

Ekko: are you working for Silco

Scoffing at this, he was there wasn't he, didn't he see that we were running away from Silco, not running after jinx

Me: fuck. You.

Now he comes out with the emotions for this day oh how glorious this may be indeed

Ekko: *stammers* I thought you were dead, now you show up with a piltie and give her a tour of the lanes?

Oh this was rich he had been following and didn't think to even get us or talk to us, nothing like that nope

Me: you were following us? Why didn't you say something?

Now pointing in my face with pure clarity and doubt of me, oh he better not say what I think he's about to say

Ekko: I didn't know if I could trust you

Oh wow couldn't trust the one person he could trust that makes sense of god, fuck him

Me: so you just come out swinging?

He got all sarcastic on me and almost mocking sarcastic too

Ekko: gee, wonder where I learned that from

Deciding to teach him a few things on the words he says

Me: ah well you shoulda learned more you still punch like a little boy

He stepped into my space I actually thought he was about to go right through me for a minute

Ekko: and you still block with your face!

I gasped out as he yelled into my face calming down half way through it remembering some little things

Me: I remember when you didn't stand up to me

I uncliped all my binds now having them undone stepped forward and hugged him

Me: missed you little man

Clearly shocked at this having no idea I could do that

Ekko: how long have you had those off?

He seemed scared of the answer for a while but soon relaxed and hugged me back slowly

Me: how long have you been whining

We stayed hugging for a while he let a few tears go for a minute maybe more I didn't keep track out of the protection of his pride, soon breaking the hug we began talking to me

Ekko: a few things about Izuku by the way, he is here you'll see him, but he is a piltie inventor going by midoriya, when we ask him who he is Shimura or midoriya he says both, and has been inventing for the fire flies almost everything here is designed by Izuku

I nodded understanding but I was a little shocked to have so much bestowed onto me in so few words and all at once

Midoriya had been known quite far and wide, he clearly liked the names he got Shimura and midoriya, oh well as long as he's Shimura he's ours that's what I've got to say about

Ekko soon took me out and walking around and explained a little further on the role Izuku possesses and the fact a man by the name of Shota helps him with info, and Toshinori helps him with the transport of designs to and from the fire lights

Izuku has a lot to burden so much in fact I wonder if he's talked to jinx or not.. he may be the most important person to the fire lights even more so than ekko is and he created the group from what's been explained to me, crafting plans, hideouts, tactics, he's a natural at this stuff..

We were talking as I had been lead to this building where both Izuku and Caitlyn had been talking about random things it seemed

Izuku: ...minute.. now

They had been swearing, well Caitlyn had been Izuku seemed just fine in the hygiene department

Me: Hey zuzu, and Cait seems like your well aquatinted with each other

They both had nodded to agree with this, and some explanation seems to be on its way on how they know each other

Izuku: I presume he's explained and told you exactly who I am

I nodded as I did infact already know exactly who he is
